Had a hard time deciding on what to build next, decided to give another spiral lift roller coaster a go, hopefully to make up for the not so great one I did over 8 years ago. (It's been a loooong time) This will most likely be my winter contest coaster.

I've rebuilt the lift a few times now, I originally tried to make it the tightest diameter possible, didn't work so well. It's working now with just 1 grey motor and i'll add a second one later.

I'm pretty sure next comes a slight turning drop into a heart-line roll up in the air, we'll see how it turns out. Layout is pretty much undecided after that.

Let me know any suggestions, thanks :)

This looks really good! I like the slightly banked turn before the spiral.
Holy crap, is that all of your pieces in those tubs!?!?

This looks really neat! I love these kind of lifts because of the compactness. It's fantastic!

I think that your decision to build a spiral lift was a good one. They barely take up space and they look fun. Good to see that many people will participate in the Winter Contest this year. Jet Scream a pretty good coaster for the time being built.

A few of my parts, yes. The downside is that they've taken up all the room I had for building.

Looks nice, how sturdy is it?

It's fairly sturdy with stuff built around it now. Just the lift on its own, wasn't that sturdy at all.

I've built some more including the station, the 4x4 space has proven to be much smaller then I had pictured in my head. Still trying to figure out a decent layout I can fit in. I wanted a nice sized station though, so that and the lift eats up the first 4x4 square.

I haven't added any flexi's on the track yet as I'm trying out different methods of shaping the track first. I'm not quite sure what I'm building next, the last several feet of track may change to something completely different. If anyone has any idea's I'd be more then happy to hear them.

Thanks!

You should try to add in another inversion. Like bank that turn into a batwing, Dive loop, Corkscrew or such.

Love the funky layout, how much do you think you can fit in?

The colors are awesome! I would keep the drop you have and angle it toward the furthest corner of the square, then add an Immelmann. It would flow very nicely!

The idea ^ had was pretty much exactly what I was thinking. I think it would looks really cool, and could open up a bunch of possibilities.

Holy crap that looks nice, spiral-y in every direction:P
It amazes me how small the dimentions look for SS, when for me I could just fit them in my room.
