So I've been figuring out what I've wanted to build for quite some time now and I figured I'd roll my dice on a woodie for a boardwalk I will be building and hopefully finishing this year. As you can tell, It is not big, as I want to conserve as many pieces as I can. So far it doesn't make the hill, but the reason for that is the sharp angle at the bottom of the drop, which I will be fixing ASAP. (You may be able to hear my dog, apologies for that)

I would definitely try to double or maybe triple the length used in the transition between the drop and the first hill, it would make it look more realistic and in my experience conserves speed a bit.

Every post is a love letter to a forum once full of innovation

The size of the valley should be tripled like CCreator said and the crest should be 2/3 or half the size it is now. That super sharp valley is definitely killing your speed. Seems like you know how to make a good structure so this could be a nice little coaster.

Edit: I see now that you already know the valley is too small so just make the crest smaller since it really doesn't need to be that big and would look more realistic.

hah, i never saw this. It ended up pretty good, it made the hill (yes, it was a lot less sharp). it then went into a turn around and airtime hills and a helix yadayadayada. I lost motivation for it, although I do have pictures that i'd be glad to post.
