link to the first test run of the multi looper im making next, ill try colossus / flamingo lands 10 invertions module but if i fail i will just turn it into a custom looper instead. and if i have enough speed and what ever ill edit the drop to make it more like colossus so i can theme it right, but that wont be untill the end, untill i know i have enough space and speed.

I bet people never thought this was going to return, but here it is. colossus / flamingo lands 10 insertion coaster.

I tried to follow a similar support structure for the drop as flamingo lands one, but the loop is based of thorpe parks one, im going to have to cut out the station and brake run due to space issues obviously but I can get the Majuro jist of the ride to fit. and the train clears the loop with what looks like still in possessive G's, just like colossus dose. meaning the speed is probably fairly close. it wont be do difficult to edit the shape of the drop to make it look like colossus though if i end up moving the coaster to the living room to add a station and brake run to the layout, just going to see how many peices and speed i have after the 2nd corckscrew, but if its anything like last time i should not have an issue, as the plastic wheel train dropped from the top of the loop completed the cobra and the 2 corkscrews. so with bearing cars there should be no issue for speed

now for the issue with space:

I have enough space in my room right now to complate the air time hill (but making it slightly smaller than real life) and space for the cobra and the 2 corkscrews, bank and probably 3 if not all 4 of the inline twists.

but the cobra will be pressed right up against my door, leaving only enough space for a wired shapped bank to fit, this also take out the space for a station and brake run.

depending on speed at the end of the ride I will probably end up replacing the station and brake section with the final inline twist, unless i have plenty of speed in witch i might end up moving the ride over the living room and building the station and brake run. although it would have to be built in my room and then assembled for the day in the living room, as I obviously dont want to take over my mother living room for 2-3 weeks lol.

for those wondering what happen to The Smiler, It got temporarily cancelled due to speed issues. along testing with the bearing cars though ive noticed they perforce so much better than the plastic wheels that im willing to give it another go, maybe not right after this one but maybe a few coasters down the line. one issue i had with the smiler recreation attempt was that I got the hight of the terrain wrong, after downloading Loakin's planet coaster recreation i relist how much it was build on a hill and how much higher the lift hill's section of the ride was to the middle section and also how much higher the middle was to the lower section with the cobra. and this is of course how The Smiler keeps so much of its speed. And when i reattemp it, I will be making each section probably at least 1 grey rod difference in height instead of just one granite rod, and i need to build the entire thing on a 1 granite rod high base for the entrance and exit of the cobra being lower than the stafadshire knott. i think this will also make the shaping better and allow for slightly larger elements.

the above link is for the 2nd test of the coaster, the ball bearing cars have made is possable to slightly reduce the original size of the first attempts loop, and slight largen the size of the cobra, although i do feel like making the loop a bit bigger and moving it back slightly so that the scaling is a big better, making the air time hill scale better also, not sure about having enough speed to get back up to the required hight for the inline twists though, hopefully making the loop a bit bigger and the drop will fix that though.

although thinking about it, because the bearing have alot less friction then plastic wheels, it shouldnt take that much of a downward angle to start the train rolling through the 4 inline twists, so maybe i dont have to get the train back up to much of a hight anyway, oh well ill be making the other half of the cobra and the 2 corckscrews tomorrow so i can see how much speed i have left then, but basing it of my last attmpt i should have more than enough speed left to complete the 2 corckscrews, as the old plastic wheel train had enough speed even with the slightly smaller cobra roll.

oh well guess its just trial and error, see how it goes lol

So last night and this morning I spent a lot of time reshaping the drop, looks a lot more like colossus now, and because its a lot more sturdy, The train also gets round that first half of the cobra with enough speed by the looks of it that the other half could probably be built to the same height.

Iv'e also worked out how to upload the raw picture file when post them, I was copying the lower quality discord preview of the images. (I send them from my phone to discord its faster than plugging in my cable lol)

but if you click, open the image link into google, and then save the image, you get a full quality image, so enjoy the 1440p images  :D  :D  unless i forgot to set my phone setting then it might still be 720 or 1080p lol

Not bad! The loop looks nice, but the first half of the cobra roll looks exceptionally good!

GOOD NEWS!!!! ive been given the living room to build a large scale coaster, think ill redo colossus as its one that need the space, ill have 15F 4inch rather than the 9-10 feet of usable space i have in my room. the next week - 2 weeks will be busy one for me trying to get this built, fimled and taken down before my mothers new sofa comes in a few weeks.

I have plenty of space to raise the hight of the loop and drop if needed latter on. but i think speed should be fine since there was enough with the old attempt and that was made from tube supports. also thinking the cobra might end up a little further back than i thought but it all should be fine
