iv'e done some first stage testing on planet coaster and real life track to test at what friction multiplier would seem accurate to use for planning knex coaster builds.  as knowing if there possable before starting them will remove a lot of failed projects due to speed loss.

for thous who done want to read the attached screen shot ill sub it up here, on my rough testing there is no in game friction scale to mach that of a normal plastic wheels car, 2x multiplier came close to lubed plastic,

and unweighted bearings got that all the way down to 0.6, better than real life? although I can imagine with track sturdiness tolerances and adding the friction of the side wheels at the same time from

elements like cobra rolls and zero g rolls would set that back to 0.8-1.2 so it seems that a scale of 1 (or the game defult) seems about the same as unweighted bearing cars.

would like to see someone else do these tests maybe with a bigger testing track to gain some more accurate data.
