Man, that stinks, CP doesn't have room to build the worlds tallest and fastest coaster...again.(If it's true)

Well, once again, Six Flags proves that they lack orginality and only know how to clone. Why couldn't you have posted this in the topic that has already been started on this subject?

Cedar Point doesn't have a space problem, they always move their rides around. Many people had no idea were they would ever put Top Thrill Dragster, but look, they got it in. and if they got to the point where they couldn't move anything around, (I e-mailed Cedar Point and asked them how they'll get room for coasters if they can't move anymore attractions around) They said, "We have a special method of getting room for our new coasters, it involves adding more land and expanding the penninsula."

So there you have it.
Yes, Cedar Point may lose their record, but, it's just another reason to build a 500 footer :D

Bulking to 200...fooooood

If CP had so many problems with TTD, SF is gonna cry until they

can't anymore.

^ lol CC your much more of a gadv fanboy than a cp

one. This coaster will have much down time, just as much and probably more than ttd.

I mean, look, after a decade we still havent mastered LIM technology, theres no way

they perfected hydraulics in 3 years to a point where this ride will never break down.

A ride thats 2480ft long and is taller and faster than ttd will have a stronger and less

reliable launch.

And why the hell are they putting a jungle themed ride in

the middle of a parking lot next to the frontier section? Maybe tiger island has

something to do with it...

That is what they said about TTD, all the bugs

have been worked out with Xcelerator, this coaster will work fine.

CP is a park meant to break existing records. Before

you know it, they'll come up with something to top that coaster. That is one of

the things that CP is known for.

Ofcoarse cp will beat this by breaking 500'

(assuming gadvs wont). I predict cp wont get a coaster in the next 2 seasons to save

money for a biggy in 07, when kinzel retires. Kinzels going out with a bang!

Actually I hate to say it but you guys MUST NOT

start rumors because people can get into serious trouble. When I was in line for

Wicked Twister it broke down and I was talking to an employee. He said CP was

going to come out with a new flying coaster soon. I don't know where or when

but thats all he said.

I doubt a launch...once you get into the 500 foot

range I would strongly consider a lift hill, but thatt would be expensive for all the

support columns reaching that height. It's not as if a launch would work

anyways; it's struggling with TTD at 420, it won't make it to 500 anytime

soon ;)

I don't know. I sort of doubt that because

B&M doesn't do launched coasters.

The flyer could be true....but I doubt it. However,

I'm sure the launch won't be happening at 500ft

I just don't know why you guys think that the

coaster will have lots of down time. Maybe Intamin has worked out the bugs for the

new coaster and are getting ready to fix TTD. I know we are coaster enthusiasts and

know about coasters but I don't think we know how coaster designers work. We

know some stuff but don't know everyhting. Roar!!! (I am tired

and felt like roaring).
