Can anybody clarify what position the cube should be in when I do the middle layer algorithm?? Sorry, but I'm sorta confused on those middle layer steps.

Alright, this is really random, but why do roller coaster companies, for example B&M, make there loops tear-drop shaped? I've always wondered this. Is it because of something to do with g-forces?

Because the tear drop is the less forceful shape there is. Since the pull in/out are bigger than the top the maximum g's that you will get is for a shorter period of time then a circular loop which has equal force all around the loop.
Correct me if i'm wrong though...

The train is traveling much faster at the bottom of the loop than at the top. The designers want the G forces to remain about the same throughout the loop. At greater speeds, pullin/outs need to be bigger (so the G's aren't too high). At lower speeds, it's okay for the curve to be tighter because the G's wouldn't be as great. So as it slows down (while going up the loop), the curve gradually gets tighter. Once it starts going back down, the curve gets more and more gradual. This gradual-tight-gradual curve design results in a teardrop-shaped loop.
So I basically said what 20 other people already said. Whatever, I'm bored.

^^ Not much. Oh and They also make it tear-shape because it looks MUCH better.
I thought about it and if it looks much better it is because you are used to a tear drop if it was always circular a circle would look nice too.

Ride sooperdooperlooper or something of the sorts and tell me which loop you like best. I personally prefer tear drop since they don't hurt at the bottom.
