Here is a construction pic of the lift. I might release

anothern pic tomorrow.

Lift</a>
The transitions at the crest of the lift are poor because I had removed

the flexi rods to continue building the barrel rolls. The rods are back now.

Here is another construction pic. This is of the barrel

roll. However, I am planning on raising the fully inverted part up a bit to add speed to

the second inversion.

Barrel Roll

Comments are appreciated.

EDIT: Note, the barrel roll has been removed.

Thanks. I just took some time to work on the model

and I decided that the 1st barrel roll is going to be changed into a bunny hop. I might

add a barrel roll after the buny hop depending on the speed.

I am planning for what to include after the 2nd lift.

After the drop, I cannot decide whether to use a diving loop or immelman to get the

train traveling back towards the station. Vote in this POLL to help me decide!

The poll is going well. So far, all of you want an

immelman rather than a diving loop.
The barrel rolls have been removed and

replaces with two small bunny hills.

After the two bunny hills, I may add a double dip or

something if the train doesn't have enough speed to get through a barrel roll.
I also want to announce that the type of coaster and logo will be released next week

areound Thanksgiving. I have the whole week off for the holiday so I will have some

time to work on the coaster. Make sure you vote in the poll about whethere or not this

coaster should have an immelman or diving loop after the 2nd lift!

Here are two pics of the loop and cutback.

Vertical Loop

Cutback

After the cutback are two buny hills and

then I am planning on having the coaster dip down towards the ground gradually and

then gradually rise back up before going into a half helix to the left down to ground

level where lift 2 will begin.
Please vote in the poll on which inversion should be

used after the 2nd lift hill, immelman or diving loop.

to me.

Look at that angle. My looks just the same. Anyways,

B&M's inclined loops are about 45 degrees from vertical and are

considered inversions.

I just had some time to work on the coaster and after

the second bunny hill, the coaster dips down and i flat for a few inches and then goes

up a little bit and into a downward curve that turns the coaster 180 degrees to the left.

The train is now right next to the start of the 1 lift hill. This is where the second lift

will start. Now I just need to install the gears for the second lift before I can start

going vertical again!

The second lift hill is already half the height of the

first. It probably won't get too much taller. I have to postpone construction until

tomorrow b/c I have to do my homework. Goodnight!

Here are the last two construction pics I have at the

time:

Overview-Please keep in mind that the barrel roll has been

removed and replaced by two bunny hills that are slightly taller than the barrel roll.

Pics 2-As I said before, the barrel roll is not there anymore.

From this angle, you can try to visualize a second lift that runs parallel to the one

shown and is only half the height but used the same supports.

The second

lift hill lift mechanisms have been installed. The train climbs up the hills in about 10

seconds using the hand crank. The hand crank is made so that when you turn it, both

lift hills are powered. Two trains will be able to run simealtaneously (sp). However,

one of my trains is in need of repair.
The 2nd lift hills pre-drop has been

completed and I have started the drop. The drop will look odd because it will shift to

the left as to avoid the vertical loop that is straight ahead. The supports will be a

nightmare but I will figure something out. I plan to add a tunnel between the bunny

hills and the turn to the 2nd lift. I am hoping to have construction pics up sometime

early next week.

Very impressive!! Your inversions are

nice and smoother and supports are good! I am looking forward to seeing this

finished!! :D

Thanks coasterfreak. I can't wait to see your

new invert.

Well, my dad is supposed to bring home his camera from work

tomorrow for the weekend so I hope I can get pics up this weekend. He is also

supposed to bring it home over Thanksgiving. The coaster is over 50% done so that is

good.
The drop after the 2nd lift hill is complete and the half loop part of the

immelman is complete with extremely sturdy supports. The layout after the immelman

is undecided. I hope I have enough tubing to finish this! This is my largest

coaster project to date! :)

I completed the immelman and it is very cool!

:D After the immelman,

the coaster crosses over to the other side right over the bunny hills. I am going to

have the train make a left hand turn away from the bunny hills. After that, I might

makea spiraling drop (360 degree steep downward helix) and then have a corkscrew.

Time for bed. Construction will resume tomorrow!

Good & Bad news!

Good: The

immelman is complete and after the immelman comes a barrel roll/corkscrew. I

dont' know what it is because it across between a barrel roll and corkscrew.

Here is a pic:

Is that image too large?

Bad

news: I am running low on pieces but I think a new set is on the way!

I have 2 SS sets and 1

RR set. I have used all of the flexi rods from them all and most of the tubing. I also

used my Big Ball Factory, Original Roller Coaster, and Hyper Space Training Tower

pieces for supports. I still have a lot of pieces left; I just need more flexis and ties.

The good news is that I hopefully have 1-2 more sets coming soon!
After

the corkscrew, the train dives down to ground level and goes through a barrel roll.

That will be the 5th and final inversion. Then, the train will climb a short lift up to a

turnaround and into the station. The lift and station have yet to be built.
Here is a

pic showing the two lift hills of the ride:
