I don't know why but every lift hill I ever built was hard for the motor to handle are there better ways to place the gears and stuff?

like on cac's current coaster he has like 5 pairs of gears in the lift. is that better?

What type of motor do you have? How many sets of gears do you use?

What motor are you using? Check your battery. Experiment.

I'd say two on the track as usual and one more that the motor is connected to.

Which one is the 4 battery?

I use four sets of gears for every coaster. On at the top, bottom, where the motor is, and one kind of in the middle of the motor and the top of the lift. Also, make sure your chain is a good length. Don't make it too short.

Make sure the gears are high up and the chain doesn't drop down to the gear after the end of tubing that causes jerking. If thats your problem. If its speed, try adding more than one motor on serperate gears, if your using a long train you'll need more power vice versa. If you've done all that and it still doesn't work then I have no clue. :(

I would put the motor at the middle or top of the lift. I use 3 sets of gears; bottom middle top and it works just fine. Keep it simple.

I really think that the motor is only powerful enough for a 3 car train with weights at most.
