I made a tutorial for a lift hill. This is for basic understanding of how to build a lift hill. It is two grays tall,
Anyway, first build a gear housing for the bottom. Here's an example:
Next add track. You don't want a connection from the track to the ground supports, because then the chain will not work.
Note: You do not want to make the pullins too small. Here's what not to do:
Here's a good pullin, using black clips and a small black rod (middle) to connect the track to the structure:
Notice how the rod the gears are on are directly above the flexi's:
Now continue building the structure of the lift:
Just build these until your lift is of a desired height:
Say you stop here:
Now you need a way to connect the top of the lift to the ground to make it sturdy, like so:
Once you track it, start on the crest:
Add gears after the crest: (Remember, the gear rod should be right above the flexi)
Now add the motor. Terrain Trekker motor:
SS motor:
Add track:
Don't forget to add middle track:
Make sure the track doesn't go too far into the gear:
Now add chain (it's best if all the links are in the same direction):
And you're done!
