EDIT: Now directed by OSB

Hello all, some of you may remember RedLine, my mega looper that i ended up canceling due to lack of interest. Well, after that physics project i was dying to build something, and i decided to re-do RedLine but a bit smaller. So, with this being the second attempt, i hereby name the coaster RedLine2.0 (RL2.0 when you/I are/am feeling lazy). I know these pictures aren't much, but i wanted to more announce the coaster than post pictures. And since i have pictures i might as well post them:

Enjoy and comment. Hopefully updates won't be as sparse as they were with my last coasters.

Amazing, I can't wait to see my first complete construction of a CC10 coaster. Other than the loop to cobra roll or Immelmann ( as far as I know on #1), what is the layout?

It feels weird to criticize one of the most experienced members on here, but it seems that the pre-lift turn is banked a little too much. Beside that, I like it, especially your cars and lift support structure.

Gump... we all know CC10 runs this place ;)

Yesss... you and everyone knows how big of a fan I am. I can't wait to see this thing actually "start".

Could be me but the crest seems small. It could just be the fact that it is not done though. Well, can't wait!

It's just 45 degrees as far as i remember. I don't have the back of the turn held down at the half-way mark, so i'll check that when i go back down to build. It's only supposed to be 45*.

And thanks to everybody else who commented. I'm going to keep the layout (minus what i had previously built) somewhat of a secret. The layout that i HAD build is: lift, 135* turn, loop, immelmann. the rest, well, you'll just have to see.

-CC10

EDIT: BOOO, i already see a bump at about 45 degrees into that turn. I forgot i changed something and didn't fix the elevation. I'ma change that next time i build as well. Fail.

Put a straight part before the lift. That's my only complaint...

Nice to see you around CC10, and even better you are going to build...

I am happy...

Wow... I remember a while back watching you get the ginormous Redline loop perfect, and the test video was my favorite! I don't know why, but hearing the whir of the wheels rolling on loose axles on K'nex coasters, is... soothing. :)

This is going to turn out really nice! Hope you actually pull through this time :)

Oh, and that turn out of the station is liek super smexy.

And the physics coaster was really cool.

I am done :).

It seems to me like people like that perpendicular support brace you built. I love it; it adds a nice look to the ride. Will it interfere with your layout?

Thanks, and no it shouldn't. It might add a nice effect later on down the line though.

And thanks everybody. I'm hoping to get a lot of work done over the long weekend since i won't have any homework, so if anything expect pictures sometime this weekend.

I wish that I had been hooked onto the craze of knex rollercoaster construction when I was 6. So many more possibilities then...(although that was when I found out about screamin' serpent, I didn't get one until age 7.)
I wish I was as good as you, and had as many pieces as you.

Well I'm done!

By the way, is the immelman a 90* turn, or a 135* turn?

It will be a 135* turn with a bit of an adjustment at the bottom.
