^No, it's that I don't have my own camera (for some reason) and my mom doesn't want me using her professional one.

Any ideas on what to do for the rest of the layout? As of right now I have a bunny hill leading in the direction of the side of the lift, I was thinking maybe I would have enough speed for a helix...

Also, once I post pictures, tell me if the turn needs to go or not: it looks sort of okay, and it doesn't show any signs of killing speed, but it's pretty small and unsupported and, umm, well, shaky.

^^1st Para.-I just said that before you.

That turn is the worst speed killer I have ever seen.

^Did you watch the video? Because I don't think it kills THAT much speed.

But anyways, please answer my question completely next time. What should I put in place of it and what should the rest of the layout be?

5 things:
1) You need to bank the first drop more.
2) Make the first hill bigger
3) Fix the transition in the turn-it should be constant, and smooth.
4) Raise the second hill
5) Add an X-tie to the end to stop the train at the end.

Edit: 500th Post!!!
and in SFGamGuitarist's thread...

^1. It's not banked enough?!?!?!? I think it looks fine, but if it's necessary, I will.
2. BIGGER?!?!? Well, for now I'll leave it as it is, you'll see below why.
3. Well, I'm thinking of just scrapping the whole turn anyways, so, yeah.
4. If I raise that, then I REALLY won't have enough speed.
5. Lol, I forgot about that.

So, it's official: I'm scrapping the turn. But what should go in it's place?

Also, more importantly, I tried to start making the downwards helix. What it does is after the bunny hill, it goes up a little diagonally towards the pullout of the first drop, then will start spiraling with the curve of the radii supports from the drop. The only problem is, the train doesn't even make it up one yellow rod, the height of the helix. I don't get it: it sails quickly over the bunny hill, but can't make it up another hill of the same height?

Anyways, that's what's happening. Maybe by replacing the turn with a non-speed-killer, then it'll have the momentum.

Until tomorrow, I'm done building for today. Wait, what?

2.Yes
3.YAY!!!
4.Raise it anyways
5.Listen to others, you'll get respect that way.

Think. I posted the comment BEFORE you edited your post.

You still lost a lot of speed anyway.

^^Lol, yeah about the bunny hill thing. It's not that I don't want to, it's that I don't think it will have enough speed.

^1. Woodie, remember? Do you mean a banked turn? If so, then I would have to make the whole thing wider so that it would be big enough.
2. What did he say? His last post didn't give any advice, unless you're talking about the post before that. Yeah, I'm doing that.

^Whos cares if it's a woodie? You can still do an overbank. And what you have is already a banked turn.

^I thought overbanks (which are OVERbanked, meaning more than 90*) were only on steel coasters. The most I've ever seen a woodie bank is 90*.

Dude you really need to listen to people or they won't help you anymore. Your starting to lose respect kid...

On some woodies, like MIB said. Their type of over bank is some type of rising turn that's heavily banked..

An overbanked turn is most commonly referred to as a large, rising turn that exceeds 90 degrees.

There are no woodies so far with an overbanked turn. So please, back to the coaster...

I just finished the "overbank (rising turn)" and about half of the second hill. I'm thinking of doing a banking, turning pullout of the bunny hill one yellow rod up, then turning slightly right and doing a downwards helix with the curve of the radii supports from the main drop.

How about have the second half of the hill be like the second half of a bückel going all the way to the ground, then a rose bowl instead of a helix

did you raise the 1st hill? if you want the most speed you can get out of this you need to make all of your elements as big as they can be.
