I guess this is a question, but requires a tutorial:

So, I'm making a woodie called Solidify, and the train didn't used to make it over the crest. So, after knexems showed me this really cool chain dog that you can make, I tried it. Now my coaster doesn't have enough speed, because the chain dog doesn't rotate, meaning that it hooks on to the chain until the very end of the lift, making it only start about halfway down the drop.

Help!

take off the second chain dog and put the gear further down the drop or just put the gear higher up the crest

Hey guys I need help, I'm trying to attach the type of chain dog that Maxlam showed, but it didn't work. I attached this to the last car, but it doesn't attach at all. So when the cars are going through the launch the homemade chaindog doesn't hold in place. Any ideas for how to fix this? I need ideas fast, because the contest starts on Saturday. Thanks guys.

Either your chain dog is too short or you're missing something. Can you get a picture before you go to bed and let me get to it in the morning?

Saw off the end of the blue rod to make it fit. Then it should fully snap in. Thats what I did and it worked great.

What? That doesn't even make sense. This is about a chain dog. Besides being irrelevant, never lube the track, it just makes the wheels slip and lose speed.
