Save the theme for the next contest, I've already finished all my track work and a few supports.

Adding water and trees would be fine, just not terrain and a specific theme.

I'll probably join this one, but can you make it a looper of sorts next?

^^ Agreed, theming is fine as long as people didn't start supporting yet.

Terrain is allowed right? +tree's

Theming is not allowed other than water features and trees. The terrain terrain must be flat in all areas other than where there is water.

I haven't even gotten to the MC launch yet...

EDIT: I'm done:

Alright so I just came up with an idea, I noticed the transport device on the lift uses either wheels or LSM/LIM (I get them confused yeah) in Nolimits.
Am I allowed to hide the lift device and use the wooden supports to simulate the "fins" on the lift like on the real deal?

How could you use wooden supports to make fins?

^Instead of clicking one of the silver cylinders, just click the "flat wooden beam" next to it.

^^^ Yeah sure go ahead. As long as you don't use imported scenery, it's okay.

I had originally made it with the large steel beam, but wood works a lot better.

Yeah like that, thanks.

I just did a quick calculation yesterday it will take me +/- 15 hours to support the whole 1710 meter long track.

^ Whoa. Mine's 2076 meters long, and it only took me about an hour to support.

And remember, you can enter more than one coaster.

The colors seem the same, but the track's actually a dark near-black gray and the supports are a dark blue. 1372.42m (4,502 feet).

That's a long train for a blitzcoaster...
Anyway, It takes so long because I'm custom making all the supports. And as realistic as possible, I don't really see this as a competition anymore but more as a project to see how realistic I can build :D

^^ Wow that looks more like a hyper. And your turns probably need more banking.

^What do you mean, no-one will ever notice, isn't this compo about the whole coaster design? Supports are as much part of a coaster as the train, the track, the brakes and the theming is!
I honestly think you are wrong. Ask Gump, he would probably agree with me.

So if I am correct you are judging the coaster on purely the lay-out and smoothness? Pretty lame is you ask me, I could just as well hand in the raw track.

When I look at coasters I don't judge them by the ride experience only, I judge on the lay-out and the usually complicated looking supports. Don't forget how much work goes into them and calculating the weight they need to carry in real life!

Now doesn't this look realistic and cool?

Also Prebuild supports are lazy IMO :P

^ Sorry, I didn't mean that. I just meant that most people won't notice the difference between hand-made and prebuilt supports as much as the track itself if you're watching a POV of the ride. I agree with you though, supports are a huge part of the ride, as is the theming.
