You shouldn't interrupt the long rods that your using to keep the track strong. keep them going and attach the tubes to the rod that will smooth out the track.

i like the design though nice so far.

there are bumps on the camelback

I know. I can't fix that because if I connect the tubes to one more track connection over (you know how vv tracks have only parts where you can connect) the hill will be way too squished together and have a really sharp top.

The turn's too large.

I have to have it wide like that to try to stay away from the 90* turn as long as I can on that turn.

I think it's fine. There's really no such thing as too large of a turn.

Thanks!

What exactly do you mean by you first two sentences? O and do you have any suggestons on what to do after the hill over the first drop? I'm open to ideas! :tmbs

Thanks for all the comments!

^And kill all of his speed.

I think you should just keep it simple and have a hill over the drop's pullout.

Hey guys, I need some quick feedback - Do you guys think it would look dumb if i switched to standard sized pieces after the camel back over the first drop? Would you think less of this coaster if I did? I need quick feedback because I'm completely out of micro pieces and want to know if you think I should buy some more, or go with standard. I would use the exact same system for building supports as I did with the micro pieces. PLEASE REPLY!

UPDATE - I've finished the camelback over the drop and the turnaround. Pay attention to the pics to see the last standard sized support. I probably wouldn't use laterals on the standards because they are strong as it is.

Sure, do what you want. Normal tubes won't make it less of a coaster.

I'm ok with the big tube supports. it's turning out pretty cool, only those last hills could be taller.

EDIT: I liek how the track looks like vecoma hyper track.

Since I've gotten a total of 3 comments (SSC & KMC) on whether standard tubes were okay, and 2 of the 3 said go for it (and my mom won't let me buy anymore pieces for now), I'm going to try it. The only thing is my old SS coaster - Flamin' Flyer - is currently in the way so I have to take that down. I also have no idea as to what I should do for the rest of te layout. Suggestions are appreciated!

The turn looks really bumpy. it's also banked to much. Everything else looks pretty good.

^The VV and slim track have no flexibility laterally. The banking really can't be changed and is just a restriction of the track.

Took the words out of my mouth. I also forgot to say that I raised the last hill over the first drop's pullout.

Alright, it's been about 2 and a half weeks, and I haven't done a TON of work, but I did quite a bit. First off, I made an MCBR (Mid-course brake run for those of you who were like me a few weeks ago and didn't know what that meant) after the camelback over the first drop's pullout. Next, I probably won't have enough speed for a helix after the MCBR, but I started it and there might be some hope... But enough of this - here are the pics and a test video:

Update w/o pictures -

I've finished the helix after the MCBR. It had to be a downward helix though, not enough speed.
I'm currently trying to build a turn out of the helix into the station, but am suffering from lack of speed.
I also could use some name suggestions.

I'll try to get some pictures up tonight when I finish my homework.

Well, I got some pictures (LONG after I finished my homework). I had a turn after the helix, but had way too many problems with it. So it's gone. I will have either the station right out of the helix, or make some small camelbacks into the station.

I think you should put small camelbacks into the station to add more fun to the ride but based on what you said you might not have enough speed. Oh and this is the best VV i've ever seen.
