lol it looks like you're running out of cross ties as well! It looks great except for the little bump in the heartlining.

We've only used like a quarter of his green crossties, plus mine when we use up those. Pieces won't be an issue

Are you really going to make the splashdown at the end? That would be cool. Anyway, this is a nice little (I mean big) coaster.

Thanks, and yes, there's an idea for it.

As said, there are a few minor bumps, but for the most part, you hit it spot on with shaping. Let's see this air hill!

Thanks Marc, we'll get everything smoothed out when we replace flexis with gray rods.

It looks awesome guys, the drop is great! Watch the crest though, it's a bit bumpy.

Yeah, meant to put a support there, but never did.

Hmm, the only thing you might want to fix is the turning in the pullout. I'm not sure about the heartlining; maybe make it more gradual. And is there really that much banking on DB?...

Banking we feel okay, but I'm not sure about the heartlining anymore. (Ben's opinion I don't know)

That looks MUCH better. Did Ben re-do his drawings? Looks like there is a small bump in the heartlining in the POV shot. You could probably just adjust the cross tie or the support to fix it up.

No, we adjusted too much the first day. He's plans were fine. And I'm not sure where you are talking about.

Thanks for the comments guys!

I think the drop looks too steep.
Diamondback (Kings Island)
I'd say the heartlining and banking is pretty good, just make the hearlining more gradual at the beginning.

Update.

After a few building sessions and a mad sorting frenzy, diamondback's first air hill is complete and working. We've also started the turn into the second air hill and re-positioned the coaster for the best possible chance of it fitting at the scale we want to build it at. The train makes the 4 yellow rods shorter hill with a pull on the chain estimated to simulate a drill lift's push, and we're adding more weights to Kevin's train to make it more likely that it'll continue to work, though we're going to wait until we have the second air hill built before we post a video update. Here are some pictures:

in the last pic it looks like there's a bump half way up the air hill. it might just be unbanking though.

That is just so awesome. Might as well just give them MOTY now;) But seriously, just by the look of the lift and first hill, this will be the most epic contraption ever constructed with K'NEX. Keep it up you guys! I know you won't disappoint!

SwimZONE: yeah, my friend Jay and I built the BBF in alternate colors because we got tired of sorting :D

Thanks for all the comments. The air hill's second half isn't nearly done yet...we've got a lot more to build support-wise before we begin doing final track on it. We're still using my original colors but the second air hill will begin our use of Kevin's metallics. When we run out of those we'll use kevin's few originals and finish it up with my metallics. I think we'll use almost all of our yellow and red length rods in combination and TONS of everything else. If completed this will be the largest-scale k'nex project ever finished, and at the moment is the second largest ever attempted (behind gump and a few other people's attempt at Goliath).

Looks unbelievable!! This right here is proof of how we've become better builders since the beginning. I know you'll finish this one, and it will be thee best when it's done. Keep going.

Since you said you were adding weights, make sure you don't keep adding as you build. On Behemoth the train started going over the first hill too fast, but that was a really stupid mistake. So make sure you have all the weight you will use for the entire time building this. Lol. This is so big it wouldn't be making the train to long to add at least 1 more car. The hill looks great, and so do the supports. Nothing wrong.
