It looks great! I'd love to see a close up of the backbone... And the triple footer is amazing! On the chain guide: it's two connectors wide, right? I'm really glad you're back, gump! I looked at the title of the thread, and I'm like "HOBIGOSH! GUMP'S BACK!!" lol

I have to agree with ^^^ that more X-ties on the crest would look better. Also, is that backbone sturdy, at all?

It actually looks very sturdy to me. And I think that the crest is fine.

EDIT: are those VV cars I see? in the blue-ish box next to the one with the yellow half-moons?

I like the supports put the crest looks too big for the pull-out. I'm not saying it's to sharp, it's just out of proportion.

"The Gumpinator"
Construction continues

Kaatsheuvel, The Netherlands - August 13th, 2009 - After two weeks of no construction, Dutch Details has continued construction on "The Gumpinator". Work has been done on the first drop, which will lead into a loop.

Jogumpie: 'Much thought was put in this drop. Multiple versions have passed the drawing table, but this one will be definite.'

As can be seen in the pictures below, the track is not completed yet and will feature more crossties later on in the process. Halfway the drop scaffolding can be seen. At this spot another tubular support will be added.

Jogumpie: 'Comments are welcome. We are looking forward to your input.'

In the second to last pic, it looks as if the bottom of the pullout would pull a ton of laterals, you might want to fix that. Besides that it looks great, I love how you combined a pre-drop and turn with a normal drop.

I love those tiny brace supports by the yellow part of your wall. The first half of the drop looks perfect, but I'd sort out the lats on the pullout like OL said.
