Not the biggest fan of the layout, but the coaster is still beautiful. I can't wait to see how it looks with all the snow and a black light. I am sure I will forget all about the layout after I see it finished...

BTW, do a splashdown ...

No, I don't mind. I told some people how I would do it when they asked though (drink straws). If you know what it is, just please don't use the same method.

I say splashdown, but are you sure you're going to get it to the transfer track? Because that is still pretty heigh.

Layout is a little bit too random for my liking. Not to say that it isn't a nice model, but just the layout is not that great.

Shaping wise, everything looks great. I would say do a splashdown.

The coaster looks great, but I just thought of an awesome idea! Instead of a splashdown with water, you should make it with snow! Just use small, round pellets of Styrofoam, and you could make one of the best winter themed coasters ever!

I actually think that the lights are a little too much, and I'm gonna take them off. Hopefully my granite rods will arrive today.

You should add a tunnel under a snowbank, that would be pretty cool.

i think that is the best woodie ever build.i think the lights are little to much too.this is the best woodie.so does this mean that there are no coasters from you untill after Christmas?

You could put the lights also under the snow so you get colored snow and the coaster looks really good through..... Do you got enough speed left for a splash down and does he then also makes the "switch house" <----- custom name

I'm with chubs on the layout, but the shaping (and snow) is fantastic. And I'd keep the lights, they look good.

Well I might keep the lights if they were on the whole coaster, but I don't have enough for that. I could put white lights on just the lift hill, though...

I say white lights. it brings out the snow much better in my opinion.

Bad news




I've done absolutely everything I can to try to get it to work. I added as much weights as I can, lubed it (plus wiped down the track and waited a few days), and cleaned out all the wheel axels with a can of compressed air. And this is the best it's run in about a week

Lower the turn, and re-track the parts hence-after it. Maybe a BOOSTER? At an area where it already goes really fast, so it gives it that much more speed?
