I am leaving today to begin my summer coaster trip. I will be going to all of the parks in the title in that order. If you have any advice such as best line wait times, or shortcuts through the park, or anything like that please tell me.

Trip:
Day 1: Houston-Some place in Mississippi.
Day 2: Mississippi to SFOG(not in the park)
Day 3: SFOG(in the park)
Day 4: My mom wants to do something in Atlanta, probably a museum
Day 5: SFOG(not in park) to Carowinds(not in park)
Day 6: Carowinds
Day 7: Carowinds to BGE
Day 8: BGE, and leave early to drive to KD
Day 9: KD
Day 10+:Drive to Canada to spend most of rest of summer with relatives.
Day ?: Grandparents taking me to Cedar Point(I know times for this already)
Day ?: Other Grandparents taking me to La Ronde(times for this would be appreciated.
July 25: Fly back to Houston
July 26: Start Marching season, YAY!!!

How many of these parks have you been to? And what parks have you already been to anyway?

I haven't been to the 4 in the title and La Ronde.
I have been to CP, SFOT, SFFT, CW, and WoF.

SFoG is the best. Do yourself a favor a skip Georgia Cyclone. And I think, only sit on the left side on GASM. Superman has the longest wait of the park. So I would suffer doing that first thing to get it out of the way. Make sure you have time for multiple Goliath rides.

Carowinds, well, the only "wow" rides are Intimidator an Top Gun. Nighthawk has longest line, so I would do that first.

BGE, Well, IMO, the rides here are pretty meh in the day. But you have to stay after dark, because that is why I like BGE so much. Totally different experience at night.

I can't say much for KD, since I havn't been since 2008. Anaconda is tough but fun, unlike what you hear from some people, dominator is my favorite in the park, Volcano was broke, but it had a huge line when I went in 2007, and from what I hear 305 is a hit or miss with the line length.

My Mom and I decided to switch days 3&4 because we thought Saturday would probably have more people than on Sunday. Today we went to the Carter Presidential Library and the Martin Luther King museum. Then we saw Toy Story 3. It was an awesome movie.

It was pretty good. The only problem was the heat, and lack of shaded lines. The rides were great, especially Goliath back row. :) Superman was my first B&M flying coaster ever, and my first pretzel loop.

Today is a few driving hours to Carowinds.

Have fun on Intimidator. It's not as good as Goliath, though.

Back row on Top Gun is best. Back is best on all inverts.

The front row on an invert is damn good with an awesome view and feeling of freedom. The back is typically quite intense. Based on the line, I usually end up near towards the back.

^True, true. I love the front on coasters, it is much more appealing seeing track and feeling free, then seeing cars and hands. However, I really love the back on inverts. You can't see anything except the cars in front, but it is damn intense.

So lets see, another week till you go to KD, I might be there the same day. Then I'm heading to Williamsburg (with a slight chance of BGE) or going straight up to SFA!

Thanks for all the advise. I'll be sure to ride Afterburn in the front and back

I can walk out of the hotel, look left, and see Intimidator stare back at me in the face. It's pretty awesome.

You at the comfort inn? Thats where I stayed. It has a totally bad ass view of the park, and more importantly Intimidator.

I saw the Best Western. Well, all those hotels have a great view of the park. You should check out the Nascar Hall Of Fame if your into that sorta thing.
