When you argue with friends about roller coasters and they won't give up with their argument, but you know you're right .
When you beg your parents to go somewhere close to an amusement park for vacation.
When you have that feeling, knowing roller coasters are going to be in the rest of your life.

You know you're a coaster fanatic if:
You go on SSC during school instead of doing physics work. (hehehe)
You try to impress your friends with all your coaster knowledge and they have to force you to stop.
You can't stop making models of roller coaster.
Every presentation that you're allowed to do is about roller coasters.
You can't get enough of roller coasters.

You arrive 2 hours before the opening of the park to be sure that you're the firt to enter. (Yes, I did that a couple of times)

Do I qualify as a coaster fanatic?
For posting in this thread, yes.
... if you choose a vacation destination based on what theme park you'd like to visit.
... if you know what page of any school textbook has a picture of a roller coaster.
... if you can correctly name the aforementioned coaster, and you know what park it's at.
... if you've ever ridden a state-of-the-art, multi-million dollar roller coaster, and then complained that there wasn't enough airtime.
... if trim brakes make you sigh.
... if you have a favorite inversion.

Lol. My elementary school had these cool jelly-like rulers. They were really flexible. Great for making inversions.
Cool to know I'm not the only one.

I'll post a few examples I created:
"you hold CTRL and S to post comments and status's on Facebook."
and
"you correct people when they call an element the wrong name on other sites or in real life."

You wonder if chicks really do like roller coaster designers.
This solves it, close the thread,
When people yell in the middle of class to get off the forums and the teacher ignores them.
