I have actually been working on an electronic controller for my coasters, and I have come up with several designs for motorized brakes and such. If anyone seems interested, I'll go ahead and post a few pics.

Not sure if this can be bumped, but sorry if it can be, but KCB Designs Hidden Friction Brakes link doesn't work or the thread was deleted. Just letting you know.


To SuperTkdkid, (below) It doesn't say that it's sticked so I didn't know if it was possible.

Member of a few physics experiments; Orchestrator and/or Copyist for a few musicals.

Finally came around to making this:

My braking system used on Orange Rush. It does take some patience to get right, but it will work if you do it correctly.
