I see you finally found a building space to work with! I really can't wait to see how you pull this off and how it turns out. I will stay tuned...

It's still kind of early to tell but it's certainly not inverted.

The supports almost look like a kiddie coaster's...

That last support is pretty tall, I don't think this is a kiddie coaster.

I see you finally found a building space to work with! I really can't wait to see how you pull this off and how it turns out. I will stay tuned...

For now, at least. There's no guarantee that this coaster will be finished in the same place it was started. I'm still ready to move at any time now...

YES! FINALLY! I can't wait to see how this comes out! So are you still sticking to what you told me via PM?

I'll stick to it as close as I can.

This morning, I noticed that some track had arrived. I was only able to get a quick shot with my cell phone.

nice track! This is turning out a bit like an RCT3 park with a storyline! I can't wait to see the track added to the supports! ;)

I like how you're switching from orange rods to black rods. (on the spine) I'll be watching this.

It seems like construction really picked up this morning. Luckily, they were able to get an early start because it's Mardi Gras weekend here in Louisiana. They've already added some track, and started placing more supports. The first element is taking shape and it's becoming easier to see what it's going to be.

It looks like this coaster is going to be a lot taller than I thought yesterday. Easily taller than Euphoria.

Yes, those are all 8-rod tubes. I've sacrificed my thumbs for the benefit of super-strong supports.

It's still uncertain what kind of coaster this might be. However, these pictures should narrow it down quite a bit. Shortly after I arrived on the site, it began to rain. But, before I left, I was able to get a picture of what appears to be some unfinished track.

Posted Image

After the rain started, construction was put on hold. It didn't really let up either. Within a few minutes, it got darker and started to thunder. And due to safety regulations, they couldn't operate the crane in a lightning storm.

I'll check back this weekend and post any progress. Until then, please comment.

Everything but the launch looks great! The launch is way too bumpy for my liking.

The tophat, or whatever it is, looks good, but the launch is bumpy. So yeah, fix that.

It looks like there is a bump right when the track is going of the Launch section. For the rest: Really nice!

Thanks everyone. Here's a small update:
The weather is still pretty gloomy and the whole area has gotten really muddy.
On the plus side, some new equipment has arrived.

Posted Image

First up is this giant thingy. I've been told it's a hydraulic motor, and it works like a giant air compressor.

Posted Image

And lastly, these came off the truck wrapped in a canvas to protect them from the weather. There are only three of them at the moment. No one is sure if there will be more.

Posted Image

The guys have started up a betting pool as to what color they will be. Personally, I think they're blue. But a lot more people think they might be silver. You can cast your vote in the new poll. And we'll see who was right when the trains are unveiled.
