That's one big drill. I'd hate to see the people try and carry that around!

Construction update: The top hat is done!
The official height is 4 feet 9 inches. That's 1½ feet taller than Euphoria.
This coaster is going to be big.
And fast.
It somewhat resembles Storm Runner's top hat, it twists on the way up, and it completely vertical on the way down. That's gonna provide some serious airtime.
On a side note, there's been a bunch of new tubes and longer track spotted around the launch area.
Please comment.

It must be nice working with VV, being able to disconnect whole sections with just a few clicks. With SS you need to take off tubing, and adjust the track some.
it looks great though stig!

I love that tophat to death, with incredible shaping and height, but it is slightly leaning to the right side. This can be taken away by just removing one ladder connector (purple piece) on the left side to even out the length of the tophat. Looks amazing though, and nothing wrong with the drop.

verry nice!

Thanks, I'll get it fixed.
^ i see that too. It's probably just the layering of the stiff rods. maybe try evening them out better.

Thanks. VV has it's disadvantages. The problem I'm having is trying to keep the ladder connectors between the crossties. Bballer's track guide is so strong it's amazing. I don't know how I was able to shape elements without it!
^I do see the sharp spot too guys.

Thanks. I'm going to try using some different rods. Orange rods are the most flexible because they're the longest. The shorter the rods get, the harder it is to bend them.
The top hat is beautiful !!!!! Just fix that small point and you'll be gold!!
Thanks. I need to make the base a little wider too. It's not likely that the whole top hat would fall over, but the fact that I can push the top hat and make it lean at all means it's strong but not stable. And I want both.

THAT IS EPIC! One question. Does it shake going over the Top hat? It's a pretty large unsupported area.
Very little. In fact the sides shake more than the top. And I'm hoping to eliminate that with a wider base. The arch does a very good job of equally distributing forces.... even with the sharp spot (which will be gone soon)
Here's something I could never do before....
