Thanks.I am impresses with the amount of effort that seems to be going into these updates! I am also clueless on what the metal beam is for, so surprise me!
Yep, it's for magnetic brakes. And thanks. The metal beam must be for the Magnetic breaks at the end! BTW, this coaster is sexy! It looks just like the real thing. You have a layout in mind? And your dog is really cute;)
Thanks, and I've done some test runs, and the turn barely shakes.Wow that turn is great! An 8 car train will look awesome on this ride! Have you run any tests yet? I am curious, how much does that turn shake with the full train?
Yeah, I noticed that too. Thanks.Harshly, in some pictures, it looks like your tallest support structure is leaning.
That being said, I love this.
I have 2 TT motors, so that shouldn't be a problem. And I was going to take off the chaindogs, because, when it rolls off of the chain, each chaindog hits the chain, which slows it down.are u shure your motor can handle the train?

Thanks.Your Supports look very sexy btw but i think you should make your chain higher so it doesnt loose that much speed.
Thanks, lol, and the "ruler" is for magnetic brakes. This looks great!

Nope.Could the metal rod be for trims on the drop? A tribute to Intrimidator?
Yeah, it's for magnetic brakes.I think the metal thingy is for some sort of track like brakes....
Looks goo so far keep working on it!

Ok, so the turn lost more speed than I thought it would. I still need to lube my cars with pledge, add weights to the cars, and add more supports. And I've decided to just tape the chaindogs down. (On the last 6 or 7 cars.) I don't want to lose screws or anything, and it should work just as well.
Or should I take out the turn and make a less speed-consuming layout?

Looks good so far, but I'm not crazy about your chain going just down like that. If possible, I'd make a chain guide or something, but everything else looks fine in my opinion.
I305's cable does that..
Looks really good, just hope you have enough pieces to finish...

I still need to lube my cars with pledge
I use Pledge on the track, not the cars.
After trying WD-40, heavy-duty silicone, graphite, and bug spray, I've given up on trying to lube vv cars.

I always wipe pledge on the track (don't spray it directly on the track) and after that clean all the whitish stuff away, so you get a small, shiny layer on your track. That works the best!
For the turn: Try weighting your cars with screws.

Now, for your "problems":
For lubing the cars, I always use the same method as I do for SS cars. Spray them on whatever surface you want, then throw them through your circuit. After you're done with that, wipe the track off as you will have some of the "leftover" lube on it.
For weighting the cars, you can use screws as Ruben suggested, or you can use something like a ball-bearing. I had a bunch of Magnetix that I never used, so I used the "balls" from that.
Hope this helps!

I305's cable does that...
Well this isn't 305, so he could make the chain however he feels.

Looks great so far, but as for the lubing of the cars I would listen to everyone above. I have no experience at all with VV coasters, so as ^ and ^^, dont do it.

Actually, one of my fastest VV cars is one that's been lubed. But I'll try using the Pledge on one of my slower cars before I use it on my train.I use Pledge on the track, not the cars.

Yeah, I knew that it would lose a lot of speed, but I wasn't expecting this much speed loss. And I'll get a test after I finish doing all of the things that I posted earlier. That's exactly the problem I came across when building Steel Force. The turn loses so much speed that it's disappointing and makes you want to go for a different layout. I like the turn a lot, but it depends on how much speed you lost. A test video would be helpful.
I'll use Pledge on a single car before I use it on my train, and I might also clean the track with Pledge. And I'll use some of the Magnetix "balls".Don't lube your cars!!!!! You'll ruin your cars.

Ok, so I've come up with a list of things that I could do.
1. Keep the turn the way it is, and have a short layout.
2. Raise the middle of the turn, kind of like this.
3. Scrap the turn and make a layout similar to Millenium Force.
4. Use a booster on the turn.
5. Cancel.
I really don't want to do options 4 or 5, but what do you guys think I should do?
