I am back...

Note that this is only the "rough" version of the gearbox. I will be making some tweaks and adding stuff to it later.

Oh the strangeness of this..... Is it a tilt coaster?

Why aren't you guys commenting? I know that there's not much to comment on, but still, comments keep me motivated to building. Unless you guys want even less stuff to comment on, then I suggest you give me just a few.

I am planning on using grey rods for the coaster. And suprisionly, they are actually pretty easy to work with. The only problem is that you can't do it piece-by-piece. You have to make sections, and when bent, it messes up the crosties' spacing. And you can't shape it and then support it easily. If you have any tricks, then post them in this thread please.

In the next update, i will have the lower gearbox and the holding brake done, and along with some track, hopefully.

Edit: So you're going to work with gray rods. Good luck I've never made a success whit them...

Don't let comments influence your motivation to build. There's just not a lot to comment on like you said. I think it looks fine, but put some track on and we can start nitpicking it.

This ride is about five feet tall, you know. I'm surprised that you arn't complanning about that. It will have a short, but unique layout.

I worked on the coaster some today, and am almost done with some stuff now.

Well, it looks pretty good, although I have a few complaints. #1, I think building supports first is a bad idea (unless it's the lift). #2, Why have the motor turned 90* when it could just connect straight to the axle? #3, add some track, it's hard to comment if you have less than a foot of track.

Other than those, it looks good! I can't wait to see more!

I had problems with the holding drop and the gearbox, so I them down. I'll finish the drop today and update it for you.

I still have to smooth it out, fix the turn, and finish supporting it. My next element will be and inclined dive loop, the an immelmann.

It's hard to comment on the drop without a direct side view, but it looks good from the pictures you have. One thing though: the crest is shaped incorrectly. It should be super sharp at the start, then gradually 'flatten' from there.

I do have to agree about the crest, but it looks super nice even without a direct side view! Nice work on the drop, and try to make the dive-loop as fluent as this!
