Is it possible to get a POV or another angle? That'd help.

I will most likely be finishing the half loop later on in the day. We will see though.

I can honestly say that that seems correct now, because before, as stated, it definitely wasn't.
If you want a reference to a Nor. Loop shaped with K'nex, the thread of my coaster Icepick has a few pictures. Hopefully that can help you out a bit to see some good shaping of one in K'nex.

Icepick's Norwegian loop was a little too steep to be compared here.

Done with the half loop:

It looks like there is a straight spot in the pullout.

I just realized that this Norwegian Loop is quite large, so I hope you will be able to place a lot of other nice elements. The loop looks perfect up to now, keep it up :)!

It looks great. You just need to roll out of what you have.

This thing is killing me. The loop I had previously was completely warped after one test because my cars are each weighted with 8 quarters and 8 pennies, so I completely demolished it and started from scratch.

I made a drawing to my liking and this is the result. It's much stronger and I personally like how circular it is... but let me hear what you guys think:

Son of a bitch.

Long story short, I used ickus's tutorial on lubing trains in an attempt to get it through the second half of the norwegian loop. I let the trains break in, I was careful not to get oil on the wheels, and I used a motor oil that is relatively light. I strengthened the pullout of the main drop with track strengtheners as well.

What I have now is a train that wont make the norwegian loop consistently (about 1/4 times)... this ride is becoming a real bitch:

Support the pullin to the norwegian loop more, and add track strengtheners too. Your train should have no problem making the element based on the height of the drop.

Well I went back to Pledge for the rails since that has never failed me and it came through again. But it still doesn't make the second half of the Norwegian loop, which it totally should.

Ok heres what I think.
1. You should lube your axles with SILICONE SPRAY and not motor oil
2. It looks like there is a straight spot of the right side of the loop.
3. I dont think you should pledge the track, but that last ones just me. YOu can do it if you want:)
Hope I helped!

Just taking off the dust with a wipe is enough for the track. As Treeko said, use silicon spray, it works excellent. Try to use track strengtheners, support more and use more weights.

If you did this all, and it still doesn't make the Norwegian Loop, I would go with another element. :(
