its deffinitly for misters. I noticed it too on monday

and to me it looked like kiddy coaster track (like blackbeards), so i was pretty upset,

but after going up the hill i got a very good look and its not track, it looked like railing to

me. Plus there was lights there, so the yelloy supports were for the lights. The track

by nitro was parts of a crain, that was determined last year when someone spotted

them...

I also noticed that planes were flying very very low, and

passing every like 3 minutes, we definitly have to have some kind of restriction...

Im going away from my ta2k theory now and and heading towards a

dive machine for some reason...

Screamscape has some news!

2005 -

New Coaster - Planning - (6/18/04) While the general rumor buzz around the internet

is still claiming that the park may build their own Intamin launched coaster, I’m still not

buying that one. This week, an old deep undercover spy popped his head out of his

hole long enough to point our noses in the direction of Premier Rides instead. With all

the trouble Intamin rides are having right now and a past good relationship with

Premier Rides, I can see this one taking shape, especially after Premier has just

proved themselves by delivering a quality product to Universal Studios. In the late

‘90s, Premier Rides was also promoting the concept of a super fast launched coaster

ride that they had called the Bullet Coaster. Could the Bullet Coaster’s time have

come at last?
(6/16/04) I’ve heard that the announcement is set for sometime

in September.
(6/9/04) Readers who went to the Planning Board meeting tell

us that approval was given for the new coaster and that it will be placed along the

parking lot side of Rolling Thunder. They will have to move the exit road for the Safari

about 30 feet over to make room for the coaster as well as removing the Kennel. The

only stats about the new coaster that were given to the public was a length of 2480

feet, which is kind of short. For comparison’s sake, RCDB has Top Thrill Dragster

listed at 2800 feet in length, and Xcelerator at 2202 feet. Why is this important? One

of the rumors buzzing around the area for the last few weeks was that the park was

planning on building something that would take the record for being the fastest and

tallest coaster, which means it would have to beat out Top Thrill Dragster. Of course,

with all the problems Six Flags is having with Intamin coasters right now, I’m not sure

I believe that they would buy from them again just yet, not to mention that so far

SFGAdv has a love affair with B&M (Batman, Medusa, Nitro and Superman).

More on this when we find out.

Construction has begun, and according to people from

GADV.com, the people around the site say its going to be big and fast.

Theres an old saying, "those who dont know talk, and those who know dont

talk".

Will it beat ttd? I sure hope not, that may sound funny

considering gadv is my home park, but i really think gadv cant handle something the

size of ttd, capacity wise and mechanic wise. CP has trouble with ttd, and there the

best, Gadv cant even keep both chillers open, how are they going to keep something

bigger than ttd open?

Do i think it will beat ttd? Not really, all though its

becoming more of a possibility now with the employees input. Whether there making

it up is the question, all though remember, to the GP nitro means big and fast, so big

and fats might mean 200 to 300 feet, not ttd statis.

Well we'll know

more over then ext 2 months with track delivery...

Aslo,

people can see Silver Built track and supports...

Silver Bullet is due to open Decemeber

24th, this coaster won't be compleleted untill May

(assuming)

"those who dont know talk, and those

who know dont talk".

Very true,

dunno why no one has been talking about SFSTL lately ;)

Is SFSTL getting anything next year?

BTW

I was just there yesterday, and there are tons of markings inside Bugs Bunny

Land...leading to my assumption that it could be a very long Kiddie coaster....but im

not believing that, i think we could get a very unique coaster next year...

I don't think the coaster will break the height

records because that would be very expensice and SF is still in debt I believe or at

least isn't doing very well. Just look at their stock, it sucks compared to Cedar

Fair and Busch Gardens.

Ok, so the lattest is that people seems to be bringing

back the S&S theory that they are giving us a new improved TA2K or a brand

new style of coaster. The other strong theory is an intamin rocket coaster, one I

highly doubt. Other than that more land clearing has been going on and it seems bye

bye for bugs bunny land, which is where the rides midway is rumored to go. Also, it

has been brought up on gadv.com that the name Max, maxx, and maxxx have been

copy writed sfi, so that could be part of the name, but who knows, the best we can

hope for is that track is delivered soon so atleast we know whose building it...

In the mean time, lets say what we hope its going to be. I personally hope its

basically a prototype to a new B&M launcher, there first real one (other than

hulk which was the IOAs people style of launch). Nothing big, just maybe new

B&M style trains, a nice new launch about 85 mph maybe, and i nice 200 some

foot hill with other elements. I think this would be the best addition for the park,

nothing to big that the park cant handle but at the same time something thrilling to live

up to Nitro and nothing dissapointing.

B&M will not launch, they hate them (they

originally objected to the launch on Hulk). B&M is a very traditional

company.....

^ Exactly and they will not build over 300 feet.

I believe this coaster will be a rocket like TTD, b/c of the way they are

preparing the construction site. I do not think it will be a record breaker, b/c of the fact

their are many low flying planes from the AFB going by. If I remember correctly the

Jackson board would not allow them to build a coaster over 250 Feet before, this could

have changed and they might have raised it, but I do not think they will allow them to

build 420+ feet.

If I remember right Millennium Force was going to be

built by B&M, but B&M would not build that high, so Cedar Point went to

the next best thing. Intamin.

No, Cedar Point did teh Better thing and went with

Intamin. I am glad MF is an Intamin and not B&M. Otherwise, we probably

wouldn't have the cool color-changing lights on the lift, the cable-lift, the

overbanks, or the awesome trains. :D

Light blue supports arrived today and look very

similar to those of ttds, maybe a bit thicker. This could mean many things, could be

bigger than ttd (hopefully not), could be a smaller rocket coaster maybey 300 ft. Any

way here are the pics.

Gadv support Pics

TTD supports

you compare the 2, im going to gadv

thursday so ill let u know what i find out.

For one the big teal one seems to be getting skinner

towards the top but that might just be how the peices are placed.

I have

heard rumors that the footer's are simular to TTD. So maybe this will be a LTB

type coaster.
