Well I did say it was coming. After a year and a half, I’ve finally got off my bum and done something. It was going to be many things during construction and ended up as a bit of everything. Came out fairly well in the end on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Enjoy 😁

Already in the process of taking it down. It’s been outside in a stormy summer for over 2 months. Whoops lol.

I love how long that roll looks in the second to last pic.

Awesome model!! Shame it didn’t work as a wing coaster - did the train wobble too much causing excessive drag?

Btw I’ve watched your Gargantuan vid many times more than any others as inspiration for the model I’m building now! Great work mate :-D

Very nice! While wing coasters aren't my favorite to ride in real life, they do have a graceful and majestic appearance to them, and I think you've recreated that wonderfully.

Ohhhh it's a wing coaster, that makes so much more sense for the last barrel roll! This is phenomenal - I love your shaping and support style. My favorite part is the pullout of the second dive loop into the zero-g, you nailed the shaping there and that's tough to do with tube supports.

Sad I never had the chance to come see this one! Been too busy to build myself but man this makes me want to!!!
Really awesome coaster (as always) and perfect as a garden coaster!
I can just picture your dad cutting the grass around it for the weeks it was up :P

Thanks man. Yeah the train was moving about and I could hear the train hit the x-ties as the track deflected in the high speed parts. I’ll have another go and build one the proper way by testing it next time.

Thanks. If I were building it in No Limits then I’d definitely keep it as a wing coaster. Just wanted it done this time though.

Could’ve probably made the zero-g a bit more spread out as it seemed to lose a lot of speed into there because it was so tight. The turn after the dive I did enjoy making though since it did work out. Thanks

Haha thanks. It was mostly me cutting the grass. Didn’t trust everyone not to step on pieces. Begin too busy sucks but I’m enjoying having evenings to myself now that Uni is done.

May be up and about building something small in my bedroom sometime soon. Will probably be moving out next year and moving in with my girlfriend which I’m very excited about. She’s even encouraging me to build stuff. Perfect ❤❤. May see a new set of rooms or even a garden in the near future. I’ll still be lurking about here until then.
Thanks

Very nice. That POV is incredible and quite realistic. And the shaping is great. Just curious, what do you use to lubricate your trains?

Thanks. Silicone lubricant is generally best for it. Doesn’t degrade the plastic over time although it can build up and so needs to be cleaned out every now and then.

Okay. I've been using motor oil which seems to work fine, but maybe I'll try this: https://www.google.c...l:1,prmr:1,cs:1
