yep, that's its name for now. I'm not sure how much to show to you yet, so i'll just give you the first 3 pics. this project has a few objectives after completion...for instance it must be able to fit through my basement door.....:lurk

I am also doing a knex-related science fair project at the same time, so.... this could get interesting :P

anywho, with the day off school yesterday, I was able to make good progress on this.

Good roll.

Why does it have to fit through your doorway?

I would like more angles of the ride... especially the roll. That would be great. :)

It has to fit through his doorway most likely for 2 reasons...
1. His parents don't want it upstiars
2. He's going to be pretty much combining this coaster with his project..
Looks awesome Fastman! Great work

^haha. how much you don't expect!!
^^I'll get to that later in this post.
^^^you'll see another in the pics below
^^^^why should I tell you when the project is so young :iyes

okay, so yes, these pics were taken at the same time as the ones I posted; I just felt like saving them for a second update. I will have a pic of the drop later this afternoon. Don't mind the mess, that's just how I build :D there may be some bumps here that are just the angle.

you actually could call this element either a heartline roll into a helix or an inclined dive loop (really, REALLY inclined ;))

does this look anything like the fugitive to any of you???:suani

I don't really like how that 90* banked turn looks. It looks like it's still inverted when it starts to turn. If I were you, I'd make it only a 60-70 degrees.

^ I think it looks good like that, let him leve it. but i do think you should make it a zero-g-roll instead of a heartline, or you probably won't be ably to do anything else.

EDIT:^but know i look at it again i know were you comeing from.

I'll build out the rest of the turn, then see how it looks. it definitely has the speed to constitute the 90* banking

^I mean you might not have enough speed to do anything else like a loop or something afterwards

^right. I am definitely keeping the roll, and I believe the banking is not too much as it enters the turn
