Will the water splash be at the end? Cause if it's not it will kill TONS of speed.

^^^^ I am not making a tut for anything. I hate tuts, it ruins peoples' creativity.
^^^ That motor did not cost me $30. I took apart a broken RC hovercraft and glued a knex gear to a motor. Then I hooked it up to a blue thing that varies the voltage of the current, and plugged it in. Pretty simple.
^^ I could...should I?
^ Yes, that will be my last element. Coming right out of it, there will be a brake run, and then a turn into the station.

Pics!

For layout, Im planning on having a huge 115* turnaround, then a really short airtime hill, then maybe another turnaround.

Really stupid picture:

For some reason, the tubing makes the track really wavy (pic#2). I think because it's new tubing, and it hasnt been broken in yet...

Keep the comments coming!!!

EDIT: V sarcasm?

It may help to connect the track to the supports in more places. :)

Yeah and adjust your crossties, you can see in the second picture that there are little bumps, not because of mis-shaping, just because the cross ties are a little off. Fix that and it looks nice.

Also, this pull-in to the next element is looking a little straight. Don't continue with it like that.

The pull-out looks wierd. It's also REALLY wavy, It has to be more than just the tubing thats making it look like that.

Connecting your track in more places will make it so the track doesn't move from side to side. Also, since your pull out looks to be big enough, you might want to try replacing those flexis with gray rods. As long as you layer the flexis, which it looks like you do, there won't be any straight spots.

from the top, it looks like the track is constantly going left and right... from the side, I see a few bumpy spots...

Sorry for the slowness, but I have an update:

The half-finished hill:

A test vid:

The train loses about 2 green rods of speed, but I need to relube it soon. As of now, it has nice speed over the hill, but it could go faster.

The hill should end in a 135* turning drop, then a really short airtime hill (maybe 1 green rod tall).

Comment!

Crashing your train like that is VERY bad! And your track is bumpy. Good luck.

In the black rectangle iit is very flat, it should be rounded more. Where it is in the green circle, it is sharp because of the flat spot.

The left side of the pull out has the same thing as KCB posted about the right side, but not as flat. Try to round it out a little more and it will be good.

just do what they said and you should be good. the leg on your foosball (sp?) table is stressing out :) lol get some side supports on that air time hill.

i think it would look better if you lowered the hill and made the crest bigger.
