SwimZONE's latest coaster will be a suspended swinging coaster inspired by Red Baron and Condor. It's layout will consist of a lift -> Station -> Drop, and that is all the information Sferico will release as of now. Now onto the pictures.

Yah, I know the name is corny, but I can't think of a better name. If you have any name suggestions, please post them in your reply.
Now Comment Please.

Looks pretty cool. The first picture would make a cool sig if you cut everything out but the track and supports. Also, for the name, make it "Swayin' Sleigh Ride."

I think you should add laterals and it looks like the supports are bending.
Edit:

Looks pretty good so far! Move on.

j-boy, it seems that on every coaster I look at you are saying

Looks good! Move on.

if you dont have anything to say don't post.

Yeah, j-boy, your comments are the most shit-useless comments I've seen.

Looks nice, though the turn almost looks inconsistant, like the degree of the turn is changing...

Are you going to add more support to that drop? I like it so far man. (HERE GOES SFERICO).

They may be bending, but I want to stay true to this type of coaster, and not use laterals.

Agreed
Wait, the degree of the turn changing is making it inconsistent? I'm confused.

Are you going to add more support to that drop? I like it so far man. (HERE GOES SFERICO).

No probably not, thanks.

Any more comments? No update until later tonight. (plus or null a week).

Cool! I'm inspiring! :D
TBH, it looks pretty bumpy, and the supports look pretty weak. With tubes that long, you should either have one on either side, or have laterals to strengthen it.

They aren't swaying at all right there, so it would waste pieces.

Update.

I must say, this is a pretty cool picture with the supports all going straight up.

I wake up to this

This picture is also kinda cool cause u r lokin at a portal.

Youtube - Frost a K'nex Suspended Coaster

Don't worry about the coaster shaking to much, I'm hoping that when the element is done, it won't bend the supports outwards. If it still bends them, I'll add string because I don't want the laterals to be obvious.

Comment!

i say just add laterals now. the shaking is pretty significant and yo uwont get rid of it all bycompleting the element. you need some laterals on the pullout for sure though.

That whole things shakes pretty bad. Try to add laterals to the taller supports, and some over-the-track laterals (like I did on Condor) would help a ton on the drop's pullout.

Also, your tubes are extremely weak. try using my way : 6 greys and 2 or 3 "2 blue 3-d connectors together which form the blue sphere thingy majiggy" thing....lol hope you understood....it's pretty strong.

Other than that it looks pretty frickin' sweet.

I don't think you should add laterals, they look bad on this type of coaster. I think that if you use 8 rods per tube that it will shake a lot less. Good luck!

I agree, and I was trying to preserve speed.

...it's cancelled. Mods, do not close this thread, I am changing the style of coaster, but not the name. The station will remain where it was, i'm only changing the style of coaster.

Sorry to disappoint about the cancel, but I'm making my Winter coaster. My goal is to have it done on January 1st 2010, making it (maybe) the first completed coaster of 2010.

Yes, I know the supports are looking stressed here, but I can't fix it. I spent 10 minutes and decided it was too minor.

In the fourth picture, the overbank looks squished in on the right side.

Aww i was looking foward to a suspended...
good overbank but on the last hill/turn thingy, its a tad sharp. Could be extended. COULD be, most people dont care and i dont think swinZONE will either. can we have a birds eye view?
