How much knex do you have, i think it will be very hard to complete the coaster, as you can see on the picture the layout has many hills it is really spread out.

20,000 pieces is not enough to make that coaster as tall as it needs to be to finish. Plus I don't think you have the skill to pull this off.

Actually, I'm not doing Goliath. I am smart enough to realize that it is above my skill level, Something which you seem to not be able to do.

^I think us mods here at SSC have made it extremely clear that we do not want members discouraging other members. You still insist on going completely against that though. Everyone is really sick of the way you have been acting (including non mods) and you are not going to be welcomed here anymore if this continues...

I think my post came across wrong. I never said he counldn't do it, I said it was above his skill level. He can do what he wants, I am just voicing my opinion.

You are not only discouraging him, you are also insulting him by insinuating he is not smart enough to know his own skill level (relatively to the skill needed for Goliath).
Better listen to us staff.

The mods are right, I believe that we shouldn't discourage people like that. In my opinion, it's okay to be skeptical of their building abilities, but bashing them and telling them that they don't have the skill is not beneficial in any way. Even if the builder fails at his attempt to build something above his level, he still learns and gains a lot of experience.

In my opinion I say yes. I believe you need to get the basics of coaster building down-pack before you even think about a recreation. I say just try something nice and simple. Then when you have the skills you can try a recreation..

^yeah agree, first learn some basics, then build slightly bigger get your shape a bit better (and i don't say it is bad now) and then if you think you're ready you can try a recreation.
