Does anybody know how to make a circular lift? I saw a video on youtube with a lift and the coaster cart gets lifted by a spiraling thing. It is also In rollercoaster tycoon 3.

You have to make a spiral. Then you take a tube and get it so it goes up and spirals at the same time. The tube pushes the train.

So is there a tutorial or a picture since I need a compact lift with no chains like the spiral since I don't know how to make the spiral track if I should bend the pices or make it with square.

Lazor touched on it but here's what you need to do in depth.

1. you build a vertical section that has 4 sections coming off of it so from the top it looks like a plus +.

2. Then build the frame around it to support it as well as the track.

3. Then you have to have something on the car that will catch the plus-shaped structure, or else it won't cause it to go up the hill.

Here's what you can end up with, but you can make you own modifications to work with you piece amounts and height.

Basically, it works by having the center plus-shaped structure on the inside rotating, then the catch on the car will be pushed by it, causing it to move forward. At the same time, the track is rotating around the plus-shaped structure causing it to go up and eventually out in to the coasters circuit.

So that's about all you need to know, go ahead and ask if you have any questions.

Thanks, for the tutorial I might use yellow rods since I don't have enough blue rods.

Can you show the basic shape from the top so I can see how big it is or just the base of the building would be nice to see.

Thanks but can you get a close in view of the 4 supports on the bottom since I can't make out the bottom. Of one of the 4 supports going up.

Browse a bit through this thread: http://www.sscoaster...rofighter-7258/ If there's anything you can use, it's in there.
