Hello all,

This year I and Maarten want to do an expo in Putten, like we did in 2011.
Maarten will build the brakes, station and lift. I will build the rest of the coaster.

Tuesday Maarten came to start the coaster together. He build the loop. The loop isn't finished since it needs to be supported some more. The last two evenings I have been building the drop, which isn't finished either.
The next update will probably contain a connected and finisheded drop and loop. This update is just to show you the start of this project.

Classic Helmut big boxed coaster. Really enjoyable. I wonder how you will make this coaster unique, not your average B&M if you know what I mean.

The loop looks a little lop sided at the top, look at picture 1 and 3. Really liking the way it looks!

Every post is a love letter to a forum once full of innovation

The loop does look a little lopsided in the last picture but I don't think it's something you should really worry about. Everything else looks great.

Super tall coaster, super awesome too! So worth it to see at an expo, I might just have to buy a plane ticket and fly over there to the land of the Nethers. ;)

Glad to hear you like the style. We will try our best on doing the coaster a bit different than others.

Hmm, it might be the picture. I didn't notice it in real. Thanks for the comment anyway. :)

Well, it's a just a bit smaller than Gumps one... ;)

It has to fit within an area of around 1,5 by 5 meters. Thanks for your comment!

I connected the drop and the loop.

That looks so awesome Helmut. When I looked at the drop's side view I thought it was way to lightly angled, but when looking at the drop on Mantis it looks fine to me, and I can't say anything negative about it.

The second crest looks a tad sharp. That's a damn nice loop though.
