This new mack launched coaster is coming in 2014 and it looks like it will pack a punch! If you would like to talk about this ride, talk about it here!

Here is what it will be like!

You'd think they'd include a Banana Roll in that somewhere, but that does look insane. Macks response to Cheetah Hunt I guess

Loved the coaster but seriously, they were not corkscrews...

For all the equations in the video you would think they would release a more realistic animation. Mind you I guess it is only to show off the elements and I hope it's smoother through the pretzel loop than it is here. Otherwise feel the pain... Don't have any problems with the layout though.

Haha I was thinking the same thing. The speed was pretty messed up. At least we get a good idea of the layout, which looks very fun.

That coaster looks absolutely fantastic. That will be one of the best Mack rides ever.

Wouldn't that make the line wait like 5 hours? That is a massive layout, anyone know how long it will be?

Deception, the speed is far from realistic in the video, it's probably going to be like a 1.5 minute ride. And the queues are not to be compared with queues in US parks where they sometimes end up being 3 hours.

A capacity of 1310 passengers per hour is very decent.

Almost certainly for a ride of that size. Though I'm guessing that more than one train will be running at peak times. They have some other good coasters at Liseberg as well so it will be quite a park with this added.

With 3 million annual visitors, this is already quite a park.

I meant kind of on the ride front but yeah you make your point. I guess having one of the world's best wooden coasters makes it reasonably special already.

A few differences between the video and the image that Micro Mike posted.

Posted Image

First off, the beginning of the ride has been altered to include a corkscrew with a steeper drop out of the station. This brings the inversion count up to 7.

Second, the elements immediately following the second launch have changed. In the video it was a twisted airhill into a zero-g roll. Now it is a inverted top hat, corkscrew thingy (very technical language) into an airhill.

Both these changes are official and have been subtly announced by Liseberg. The picture posted is the most recent version of the ride.

I can see myself going there for a long weekend. €29 for a night train from Utrecht to Copenhagen and from there one more train to Göteborg. Very doable.

WOW, it looks really fun! I think Gatekeeper may have found a new coaster better than it!
