I made a Mondial Windseeker. It's about 7 feet tall. It's a square carriage anchored to the tower with wheels on eight rails, connected to two chains on opposite sides which lift it up and down. This carriage is carrying a cylindrical ride hub; a thick rail at the bottom of the hub rides on four wheels housed by the carriage, one of which is powered to make the ride spin. It's not perfect: the gears slip a click once in a while (doesn't affect performance), the two chains need to be balanced sometimes or the ride is tilted, on one rare occasion one of the chains snapped (luckily the ride carriage got caught in the tower when it tilted because the other chain was still in tact), it's very slow both vertically and rotationally. But overall, I'm really happy with it, and am pleased with how it came out almost exactly as I had envisioned it in my head beforehand. Enjoy!

For the rotational speed, I think it would help if you made the radius a bit bigger.
Looks really cool, I kinda failed with this ride multiple times, but you did a nice job!

Yeah, I thought about that too. But the structure is just so pretty right now I didn't want to extend it I might try it today just for kicks.
