I'm also stuck at my parents' house until I can find a job and move out, and I don't know anyone in this town. And most of the jobs I'm applying for are in Orlando, so there's no point in making friends here if I'm gonna leave soon anyway.
I've become really interested in 3D printed coaster models lately. This guy proved that it's totally possible. It's not as much fun as K'Nex because the track pieces are rigid and you can't shape them with your hands, but it looks even prettier in the end. The only thing is that a nice FDM printer is expensive (the Lulzbot is $1250), so it'll be quite a while before I can afford one.
