I had to let down Chaos here for the first vote. His invention was great, but Steel Venom's was more complicated and anticipated. He must have put in a lot of work into that mountain as well, but as much as I would love to vote for him I can't. It's still a FANTASTIC model though and will always be up in the top.

Most definitely. My vote went to troglodyte but it was a tough decision. Neither of the coasters have decisively pulled ahead yet, so the playing field's quite even so far.

I just dont see whats so great about troglodyte. I mean it's a cool coaster and all but it's not anything amazing.

Troglodyte was the first coaster with a vertical transfer track, and that is unique to only that and FME. I think he deserves the inventor tag for that.

I am really amazed at the mechanism for the transfer tracks on Troglodyte. There was much more to them than I had thought. You can see how they worked here. He used a lever that the car hits to release the track downwards.
