I am currently working on a dragon out of K'nex. the dragon is modeled after the dragon in the dutch themepark the Efteling that stands with the new wooden coaster joris en de draak.

This is an image of my dragon so far.

DUDE!! Thats totally amazing! really realistic and looks awesome. the movement is cool also! now someone needs to build a recreation of JedD and have that in front!
also you must have a bunch of green connectors.

Wow thats really cool but are you going to build a coaster to or is it just the dragon? Also could you show some of the mechanics and how it works?

Hey Ralph, welcome at SSC. Great to see you here, too. Added you to Dutch Details (to others: Ralph has been a member on our own website for a while now).

You are forcing me into trying a JedD recreation, aren't you? ;) Damn, it would have to be huge to make it fully working...

Well, I changed the topic's prefix to Dutch Details :) I hope that's ok with you?

But a recreation of JedD would be nice ;) there is already a dragon for the coaster to go with it ;)

Damn, that's one of the most awesome things I've seen. You wouldn't happen to be able to make an instruction to build this, eh? This is a must for a JedD recre.

well, instructions would be very difficult to make for me :P but you can always come over to see the dragon in real life :) then I may explain how some things were build and offcourse you can take some pictures for some of the detailwork. Anyway I think my dragon not going to be broken down for a while, I just don't want to see my best build ever to be demolished :)

Expo worthy if it had a coaster next to it.

Phase would be hard, it would require some major timing stuff, aligning and other things. Would be hard... Think you will have to go back to mechanical brakes instead of a chain in the station.

We'll see, also, can I come along with Gump?

Wow, this is amazing. Nice to see that you're Dutch!
It would be great if you put a Joris en de Draak recreation next to this Dragon!
I hope to see a lot more from you!

That dragon is lovely and so realistic. It would be awesome, as Jogumpie said, if someone could make a JedD recreation now.
