That's amazing (Poor car, though)! I can't imagine the size of this when completed, and where will you build?

We'll build parts at Tom's house, and we'll put the coaster up in Koen's Backyard :D

Time for some brakes.... :)
Looks amazing Tom and Koen!

We'll add those trims, but they will be uneffective.

Super awesome backbone and speed on the hill. Can't wait for the next update!

Thanks!

Wow. The speed is unbelievable, and the shaping is fantastic.

And this was only 3/4th of the maximum speed :D

Was that a drill launch, or some kind of rubber band/surgical tubing? Sorry, can't remember XD

It were a lot of small rubberbands ;)

Update!!!

Well, this isn't really a big update, but we've changed quite a lot of things since the last update, eventhough you wouldn't say that. All the supports have been added for the first hill, we finished the backbone, and it is all at the right height! The launch that you saw in the last update wasn't launched at full speed, it was only 3/4th of the maximum speed! So i hope the speed won't be the biggest problem. Please watch the pictures and see how good (in our oppinion) it looks :D

Overview of the whole hill, which was really hard to get ;) :

It is 1.3m tall, which means that we have the coaster on a perfect 1:40 scale now :D :

How awesome is this :P

Well, that was it for this update, expect a part of the hill for the next update. Hope you've enjoyed this update, please comment and be harsh!

This coaster makes me smile every time I see it from it's size. There are no flaws whatsoever, so please continue!

Just gotta love how big this coaster is. I assume it will go outside once you have all of the sections of the coaster made, seeing how bit it is, correct?

Dont you mean 1.29 meters tall? haha :) I guess you can finish this lay out easily with no speed problems, at least I hope you can.

Amazing shaping, amazing speed, amazing height, amazing choice of recreation, amazing realism, amazing everything!

I didn't choose the band life, the band life chose me.

A hint 'o advice: Don't even consider adding brakes until it flies through the final brake run...

Otherwise, this thing looks rock solid. In the economy of pieces, that spine's far better than what has been done on Night Fury (is that the name?).

....continuent!

Hey guys,

So, we went on vacation. It took a long time before we could build again, but we have an update now :D We made the other part of the hill, which is going downwards. In the pictures you will spot some bumps, but we are still trying to fix them. Please realize that this part of the coaster has 16ft of track on it, which is a lot.

Well I'm not going to be EXTRAORDINARILY harsh, but the turning drop is very bumpy. there are some spots you might want to look at. If you REALLY NEED it, I can give you a paint picture...

Pretty bumpy (not that I'd do it better on this scale...)
For stability, I suggest moving the diagonals to the other side of the track.

So, we made some adjustments in the way of changing the connection points at some places. And we think the result is a lot better, because the track is a lot smoother now :D

And RNB, we are not going to change the laterals of the supports because we also want to recreate the supports of the real ride ;)

But, is this better:

I feel like it banks way too much at the end.

Yeah, I agree with DDR, it shouldn't be at 90*. Everything else looks great.

It either needs less banking or the end part of the turn needs to be pulled in closer.

yep, thanks.

I feel like it banks way too much at the end.

Well, it's banked about 70○ just as the real ride.

Yeah, I agree with DDR, it shouldn't be at 90*. Everything else looks great.

Thanks, but the turn banks at about 70○

Awesome!
You might need some less banking though

It is the same banking as on the real ride, thanks.

It either needs less banking or the end part of the turn needs to be pulled in closer.

Same as above.

Update 5.5!

Well, in this update we want to show you the amount of banking in the turn, and the whole low part of the turn.
