I know. iSpeed is my favourite, followed by Storm Runner

Last time I sat and doodled something, it looked a lot like this.

... And might I add: I love your launch.

Haha, awesome layout, I reckon you should retry something similar ;)

Have some more. -gives-

Well, I have most of the Norwegian Loop done, unfortunately the train doesn't make it (it's close! :] ). The loop measures 4ft 2in, which is 2/3 of the tophat's height. I'm not lowering the second half, so don't ask. Instead I'm going to strengthen the track, beef up my supports, and strengthen the tophat (bungee doesn't work, unfortunately).

Here's a direct-side:

The side of the norweigan loop that is closer to us, the part where it is upside down on the right needs to be raised some. It looks too sharp of how you have it now.
Stig, watch out... we may have a new "best micro coaster ever" ;).

Edit: Exactly where I was saying up above this but where the track just starts turning white.

I'm not done building yet.

OK, I will try to explain this...
Look at the entrance of the Norwegian Loop. Then look at the spot it changes from blue to white track. It looks like that spot is raised too much. You can fix this by lowering the support(s) underneath that spot. I hope you get what I mean. ;)

That looks great! Does that section of your house ever get used!?! Good god those track to support connections are amazing! I wasnt exactly sure what you meant by the bungies arent working. Do they not work on the top hat or the norwegian loop?

The Norwegian loop does need some speeding, but it looks pretty good at the moment! :)

It looks good, but I can't quite fathom how big the entire layout will be, considering the size of this!

It's our living room..... lol. And it's a pretty awesome connection, hehe ;) They aren't working as massive diagonals, no issues with the launch.

Done! :D
No test video, I'll do one when I've finished the loop.

I managed to lower the tube itself by an inch, and this removed the bump. Thanks dude!

Due to a tube in the first half, which I have to work around. I've done some adjusting to the second half and fixed that.

It looks good, but I can't quite fathom how big the entire layout will be, considering the size of this!

I shaped the layout nicely to how our lounge is. Depending on what happens with the Cobra Roll, I might have to change slightly (could have to remove a cork or something. Expect tallest tubesupported VV, most inversions on a VV, tallest VV Norwegian Loop, and maybe some theming.

---

Well guys, I did two little things. I lowered the Norwegian Loop by about two inches, and added cross-braces to the tophat. Result? Very little shaking on the tophat and the car clears the Norwegian Loop with a little boost. I have only been testing with four cars, since I currently want to run an all-white train and only have four white cars.

Only problem i saw was in the update before this one. The loop thing needs tremendous shaping help to it, because it has tons of sharp and straight spots in it. And no, i'm not talking about the top where it twists.
Edit: I'm sorry if you think i'm being a bit too harse to you, but that's what we gotta do on here to help each other make better shaped elements. :)

I have nothing important to say that hasn't been said already.
Lookin really good, Micro. Glad you decided to add diagonals to the Top Hat.
Hope you can finish this model, it'll set the bar pretty high.
