Hi everyone! I need sets for this cool coaster my dad and I are making. If anyone knows where to buy some custom (tubing/cross ties) coasters besides ebay/amazon.com, please let me know.

The regular SS/RR/SR/SM sets are no longer in production. Yardsales are your best bet when you mean offline.

The SoS set is only available online AFAIK through the knex site.

Actually, there is one guy on ebay sellin 10 SOS sets for around $600 apiece. Its still a lot though.

I highly doubt the legitimacy of that. The SoS is being sold in the K'NEX webshop for 1000 bucks. I highly doubt anyone would even own 10 SoS sets even then, why would you sell them for 600?

^ I believe that's the guy located in Hatfield, so it's probably K'NEX themselfs. Offline, check yardsales, thrift shops, goodwill, etc.

Yard sales are where most of my k'nex come from. Typically people moving or kids going to collee and they sell their toys.

^ Unless you mean the SOS, no. You can get the older sets on Ebay, Craigslist, Goodwill, Thriftshop, yardsale, etc.
