It took me quite a while to build this. It was actually January 6th when I started building this mammoth. Of course I haven't built 24/7 since then. You suggest to get some more height out of that hill. Do you mean that this first camelback hill should be a bit taller or that the following elements should be sufficiently tall?

I think the hill should be raised to about 6'8-6'9, then all the following elements should be just tall enough where it's not terrible pacing, just more like as realistic and tall as can be, right?

1- Time Traveler 2- Magnum XL-200 3- The Voyage 4- Velocicoaster 5-Iron Gwazi 6- Phantom's Revenge 7- The Beast 8- The Legend 9- Tiested Timbers 10- Steel Vengeance

I'm not sure if I missed the answer to this but is this entire thing just going to be in your house? Or in some museum/room? Outside?

He wasnt talking about the lift, he was talking about the hill after the first drop.

Unfortunately construction is going slower than I had expected. I'll finalize the valley after the camelback hill tomorrow and then that'll be it for this weekend. I had hoped to make a start on the next element, but the combination of the track, the backbone, the tube supports and my incredible collection of K'NEX stored upstairs while building downstairs, makes construction so slow.

Oh hai! Are you ready for some more grainy pictures? Ok, let's go!

Posted Image
Not only did I continue with the second half of the camelback hill and the following valley, I also did some minor tweaking on the camelback hill itself.

Posted Image
I am considering adding an extra triangle to the tallest support of the camelback hill, since its lateral is bending ever so slightly.

Posted Image
More labels! And another full-tube backbone on the valley.

Posted Image
Although it may be hard to tell without tubing and with such a grainy picture, it appears to be fairly smooth, right? I did do some extra tweaking on the track near the two semi-tallest support columns.

Posted Image
The addition of this valley makes the camelback hill a bit sturdier, too. Next time I'll be able to start on the lead-in to the next element. Finally.

Looking good, Jochem! The hardest part is done, as it will get easier to build when you're lower off the ground :).

Looks pretty damn smooth to me - why aren't there any laterals inside the supports though?
Surely if stability is an issue?

Even if there's no lateral forces on this hill, it would help?
