Hey guys! It's been awhile. For whatever reason I thought about the people here at SSC, and how their majors usually end up being Engineering. I already know some member's majors, but I am curious as to what the rest of you are studying, have studied, or think you will be studying. Here's who I think I remember correctly:

RCT2123 - Mechanical Engineering
Antinos - Mechanical Engineering
Gump - Engineering of some sort
Tyrant - Engineering of some sort
Maxlaam - Mechanical Engineering
BGTKing - Engineering of some sort
CC10 - Computer Science
pkiknex25 - Accounting
commando - Mechanical Engineering

Feel free to add yourself to the list. I feel like all of these technical degrees say a lot about the community we have here.

I'm in school right now for Woodworking Technology. I'm currently in year 3 out of 3. I had an extremely hard time choosing between Mechanical Engineering and Woodworking. Woodworking is one of the only trades where you get to build what you design and since I love both of those, that's where I've ended up.

I'm going to major in Mechanical Engineering for sure, seems to have the most opportunities and I think I'd enjoy it most.

I'll probably end up majoring in Architecture or Civil/Structural Engineering. I'm leaning more towards Architecture because of the creativity and artistic vision involved, which is very important to me. Photography is always an option on the back burner too because I'm very passionate about it.

Sorry to break the streak of engineers guys! Architecture was my original plan early on but then I had a change of heart and decided on biology. Biology is my undergrad major, but I was accepted into the pre-admit physical therapy school for graduate studies. So in short PT is what I will be doing for the rest of my life. I am currently at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri.

^^Yeah, that's what I've heard. I'm trying to keep my options open so I can make a well informed decision once I actually begin college and taking courses in different majors.

I want to do engineering of some sort, too. I haven't decided which one yet though, but I am leaning toward mechanical.

Haven't really given it much thought :P.

I know it's way too early to say this but I'd like to major in Roller Coaster Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering, but for all I know, I'm 11 (None of you know that), so I probably shouldn't say that already.

I have my bachelor's degree in Advanced Technology, which is a multidisciplinary study containing subjects that range from the well-loved mechanical engineering to electrical engineering to (scientific) business administration. I am still in the process of attaining my master's degree, which is in mechanical engineering.
