Oops my bad, it looked like that from the angle. That looks really awesome, hope that the rest of the world sees that Vekoma isn't just rough SLC's and boomerangs anymore and we get something like this in America!

^^ Heat lightning still weirds me out, I saw it for the first time this summer too.
Happy early birthday! Are you planning to revisit any parks while you're down here?
Can someone please build a recreation of this ride... it looks incredible.
We'll be at Disney 8/9 days. Staying onsite there. Universal for one day.

On a different note, school starts next week for me. Just like normal, I can't tell if I'm excited or scared. Oh well, haha.

Also, does anyone know someone who works here? Just wondering.
Edit: And by that, I mean anybody from this site that may work here at Cedar Point.
Been wanting to work on my Blue Streak recre, such as repairing it from the damage that's been done to it from my family members. There's a lot of damage though, so it'll take several hours just repairing it, if not more. I've been pretty busy the past month and a half though between drill, and the National Scout Jamboree.

Nice to see you around, Turtle. So, blue streak is still not done? It's been over five years. I think you should keep it standing and never take it down and forbid anyone else from taking it down. It will become an ancient monument. By the way, Turtle, I have the link to your thread if you want. Found on page 8. http://www.sscoaster...streak-7162015/ *slaps PB in the face*
Edit: 8/28 first day of college. It's going well so far. Edit 2: 8/30 v Yeah Photobucket decided that members need to pay - get this - $400 - not only that - $400 a year to have images viewable on other sites... yeah, I'll never forgive them for that. *continually slaps PB for eternity* People have been using flickr and the SSC gallery (what I've been using), but there could be more. I recently deleted my PB account for A: because I'm not going to stand next to a company that does something like that, and B: for the fear of them disabling account termination and forcing us to pay them. Oh and you're welcome.

Aye, Blue Streak was never finished, haha. Thank you for the link. Is there a different website that people is using now to upload pictures?

Nice! Are you gonna catch Dragons before it closes? I'm hopefully gonna be there on the 4th for one last ride.

Something I would also recommend to anyone who is going to ride the dragons before they close: ask one of the ride attendants about the Castle Tour, you get a tour of the castle, where you can bring your phone to take photo and videos. Maybe other things as well.
The mummy, MIB, and Hulk also have these tours if anyone is interested. They're all free too.

However, the ride experience remained virtually unchanged for another year until in 2011, when a number of accidents caused Universal to discontinue the simultaneous launches of the two sides of this attraction.
Another source; The issue of loose objects has become more of a problem for roller coaster operating as more guests carry smartphones and other devices."
Edit: v I feel bad for both of them. Obviously more for the guy with the lost eye, but also for the guy who had the coins. I would feel so fvcking guilty...

I say this but I nearly lost my necklace twice while on Ge-Force at Drayton Manor. That upside down lift really requires zip pockets for your stuff.

Woah...for real? Where can they take you? This is something I'll have to check out on Monday!I'm going to say goodbye to the dragons one last time tomorrow. I'm going with someone who operates the ride, so it'll be cool to see the ins and outs of the ride.

I haven't done The Castle tour, but I have done the MIB tour and the tour of Hulk.
MIB:
You have to ask about "The Immigration Tour" and a ride operator will direct you to the person who gives the tours. We got to go down to the floor where the two green aliens are on the computers, you can sit in the chairs, look at the papers on the desks, sign your name, it's all quite cool.
Hulk:
"The Gamma Tour". We were able to go into the queue, with our phones and a ride operator explained to us what all the theming bits were supposed to be. I think this is where it deviates from what is supposed to happen, but we then got to ride the coaster with no wait and we got a free on-ride picture.
Mummy;
"The Production Tour". I haven't done this one, but I have heard that it is pretty cool.
Basically if you ever go to universal just walk up to someone operating one of the rides and say something along the lines of "who do I speak to to receive "one of the tours in quotes up there", and they'll give it to you free of charge. A very interesting Easter egg, and a great look at behind the scenes a bit.

I received a strange comment today:
https://www.youtube....h?v=UFtDbuQiwKs "I'm scared, take it down" - jrodnanfelt
I'm puzzled. I don't know what to make of this comment... but for now I'm laughing. Edit: Fried, haha yeah. Probably. | The other nigh's dream was sick. I was in my old room (where I made Ningen) with Cartracer56 and I think Fried. We were chatting with each other via notebook paper - of course I was using a purple pen. Cart was using blue and Fried was using aquamarine. Anyway, I looked out the window and made the sky turn from day to night. I started off slow, but then I switched between the blackest night and the sunniest day so fast it looked like something from an epileptic cartoon, only in 3D. They asked me what was going on. "I'll find out." So, I phased out of the window and teleported up to the atmosphere. The sun was being covered by these huge rocks. I kept watch and used telepathy so Cart and Fried could see it, too. For the finish, I formed an eclipse. During totality, the sky looked like TV static that has a magnet next to it, and it was also covered in oil to bring out weird colors - hard to describe. Forum, the amount of things I can't do in dreams are becoming shorter than my um, um, Lego collection.
Edit 2: I suppose this is as good of a time as any to talk about the chat. It would be nice to have, but I'm not sure many members here would use it frequently enough to make it worth the effort, and I'm sure, the cost of keeping it up and running. Besides, BGT has a baby to take care of. As I see it, that comes first over SSC, and if resurrecting the chat causes BGT additional stress or time away from his family and stuff, then I can't comfortably ask him to bring up a new chat.

Maybe he's like the RCT2 guests who will not ride my 42.00 intensity twister coaster for whatever reason, but he thinks the world revolves around him and wants the ride taken down if he is too scared of it.

Amazed I could remember my password after all this time, can't believe I registered here over 10 years ago!
Just popping back in for a moment to let you guys know about a project some friends of mine have been working on. In short, it's a custom coaster building system that can be done entirely with 3D printing and some cheap components from your local hardware store. They're hoping to get a kickstarter opened up soon to fund the initial design and production.
