no, just smooth it out. Huge straight part in the drop and pullout.

This is what a basic first drop looks like. Notice the size of the pullout, and the nice, flowing curve to it.

There should be no straight parts in the crests or pullouts of a coaster. Here's what yours looks like:

^ Yes. Make your crest rounder and make the pullout smoother and maybe a little bigger. And please dont use a completely vertical drop.
From the video, it looks like your train has good enough speed until it hits the cobra roll. The sudden stop also makes it seem that the car is either rubbing on the track or the cars are pushing on each other, and both are caused by tight turns or twists. If you try pushing the car through the cobra roll and there is no resistance, then I dont know what to tell you.

Also, to make your track smoother, remove the supports in the spot that needs better shaping and adjust the crossties and tubing until it is a smooth curve. You can take the tubing off and replace it too. Then make new supports and try to make their length as close as possible to what it should be.

Yes it is okay to have a 90* drop, but yours looks horrible.
But a non-vertical drop almost always looks much better. Cant wait for a vid

would you want to ride that? you would die! spend more then five minutes on a foot of track! make it smooth! I want you to restart from after the lift.

Yeah the drop is super bumpy and steep change that around also the g roll looks like somebody punched its teeth out.Take out the bumps in the g roll

do everything on the picture. as of now the coaster isn't as good as it should be. if you change the drop, you may even be able to get in a higher cobra roll, and bending pieces can break them, and that airtime hill would kill people. and put in crossties! they will help!

If you do everything he tells you to, then you could almost double the size of the cobra rol. At least you tried to fix the shaping. Don't make the drop vertical, because this isn't a vertical drop roller coaster, and only arrow/vekoma coasters and dive machines have straight drops.
