I know I'm not completely done with Magnum yet, but I was really excited about starting this coaster.

Okay, so I went to SFMM a while ago and saw that they were beginning to build a new ride. Not much was built except for some massive supports and what I think could be a turn out of the station.

Here's some pics I took (or had a construction worker take):

why you don't use tube supports?

This is probably an obvious answer and is just not coming to mind right now, but what is the hinge joint for?

^ The hinge is so he can make the lift whatever angle he wants. Very clever idea.

Oh that would make sense, if that hasnt been used before, that should be TMed to Steelway

^It's not really something to trademark, I don't think. But it is cleaver.

Thanks guys. RWT also used that lift technique on his first coaster, and I've used it before. Okay so this coaster is going to take up my whole room...so I can't start until I finish Magnum...which I just did.

cool a B&M standup i like the hinge for the lift whats the degree gunna be 25*?

^ I doubt it'll be 25* because then he couldve just used the 2:1 yellow rod method like im using on Roar.

Umm, I'm going to go the route and say that this is a Riddlers Revenge Re-cre. Why else would they get another standup? and that would explain the lift hinge, to get the correct angle.

I've used the hinge on Poltergeist, and I'm sure others have, since it's not exactly revolutionary. But here's to hoping for a long layout. Are you making custom trains?

He said he was going to build it after magnum, he is building a stand-up instead. I asked a question to know why he didn't build terminator.
