I am not even halfway through deconstructing my X2 recreation, but I've already started my next project! Let me just say, I am really looking forward to this one. This project is meant to be a successor to what was my most well received coaster, up until my X2 project, that never came to be, Equinox. Unfortunately, this one won't feature the large sweeping first drop like the original featured, but the good news is that I don't have the space constraints that caused me to need to build that kind of drop. My plan for this build is that there really won't be one. I started the build with the intention of building an Expedition Geforce styled Intamin hyper coaster, as shown with the lift supports. But I decided that it would be a little more fun to just build freely. Though, don't be surprised to see some modern Intamin influences in the layout because Hyperion was one of the other coasters that inspired me to start this project. I'll probably throw in some RMC style elements too for some extra flair. Anyways, onto the pics!

Quick look at the simple station i built for this.

This station does use drive tires because I feel it's a much nicer aesthetic. They're also connected to the same drill that runs the lift. This allows me to only have one source of power to run the whole ride (assuming the brake run won't stop the train entirely).

While it isn't the same as the original Equinox drop, this one still features a slight unbanked turn at the start of the pullout.

Another angle of the drop

Note that the supports aren't completely finalized and are just there to hold the shape of the drop. I do see that the tubes on the drop have a slight bend to them. That's what i have been working on this evening.

So, I don't really know for sure what I want to build for the next element. Sure, a large camelback would look great. But, that does seem a little too typical for a hyper coaster. I was thinking of doing either a low height speed hill similar to what you find on these newer B&M hypers and gigas or a zero-g stall like what you'd find on Taiga at Linnanmäki. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated :)

depends what style of coaster you wana build, intermin mega lite / fury 325 style coaster you count have a 2 low to the ground small 30 degree turns / banks into a larger 180 degree over banks or somthig, might looks cool.

and i love your style of building, can i use that lift / catwalk style for my custom rmc?

The drop looks good and the lift structure is very clean! I don't see an issue with making a large camelback hill next. A speed hill would work too, up to you. As long as you only have 2-3 camelbacks in the layout then it wouldn't feel too much like a generic hyper.

That twisted drop looks absolutely gorgeous! Either type of airtime hill would be a great fit for the ride going forward, although it might a little more impressive if you used the momentum from the first drop to create a larger floater hill before venturing into some more intense, lower to the ground elements? Some of the RMC-inspired elements on Walibi Belgium's 2021 Intamin hyper are particularly tasty, so I'm looking forward to seeing where you go next.

I can already tell this will be epic. Looking forward to airtime and overbanks. BTW what is a floater hill?
