You defentley need more motors for the lift and it's not even tall enough to make it through the layout lol uve got to make the lift at least seven feet tall no joke because your going to lose all of your speed on the drop and lift when it shakes like crap from the force and bad footers from the tube supports. You can't be losing speed on this what so ever if you want to complete this layout in proportion with thirty boosters dude. Also show us a test video of the train going up the lift and the drop int he next update to please . I also think the crest is a tad bit to sharp too. Good luck!
Woah, that was pretty blunt. Anyways, I'll connect the footers of the tube support bases via rods and connectors. I took the advice in countering speed loss by making the drop height shorter than usual, as josh monster said. You might have also forgotten that this build is elevated by a grey rod for the trenches. I'll recheck the pre-drop picture to determine if it is too sharp.
As with the motor issue, the terrain trekker motor works just fine. Adding a 12-volt motor (if I can find it) at the bottom will look kind of awkward, plus there isn't an outlet nearby to plug it in.

I am building Raptor from Cedar point right now and I can tell you that inverts loose speed more quickly than sitdowns and that the taller it is the more speed loss you will have.
Josh did not say "make the lift shorter" He was saying that taller coasters lose speed more easily than short coasters. Montu is a tall coaster. Therefore, since knex is less sturdy than steel, the knex model is going to lose speed more quickly. So, in order to make sure you have enough momentum to get through the layout, you actually should make the lift higher than it should be. I know, believe me. I helped josh on his Raptor re-creation, and I have done other re-creations. Raise the lift hill if you want to do this. The lift hill has to be at least 7 feet tall. The Raptor re-creation's lift height is about 6 feet, and we used 3 boosters. If Josh made it 7-8 feet tall, it may have worked without a booster. I hope you continue to make this, but you'll have to make it huge to make it make it.I took the advice in countering speed loss by making the drop height shorter than usual, as josh monster said.
