The turn looks great now, the shaping on it looks flawless from that angle. I think the lift is a little too steep, but other than that everything looks fine.

Thanks, but how steep should I make it because making it less than 45* right now will screw up the placement and organization of the supports. But I'll see what I can do :)

I agree. Everything, except the angle of the lift looks good. I think you need to lower the angle of the lift just a bit, if you can. Here's a picture to help you a bit with the angle of the lift.

Also, make sure to add diagonals in the lift structure, you'll need them to reduce shaking.

Also, you may want to add those diagonals for the lift supports, considering the terrible speed loss for inverts.

Agreed on the diagonals and the angle. If you go for the full layout, having a shorter lift will screw up the layout. The prelift looks good from the angles you posted.

would be nice if you added a chain guide under the lift, it would resemble the catwalk on the real coaster. Too bad you don't have yellow cross ties.

Comet Recreation still underway.

Update is coming out Saturday :)
I lowered the angle of the lift hill and added the diagonals, as requested.

Edit: I have one more support to finish the lift hill.

Update Time (sorry I posted this on Sunday instead of Saturday)

I added diagonals and lowered the angle of the lift hill (which is finished)

Ignore the loose rods and connectors attached to the base above (that's the ground level). I'll fit the trenches in later.

Now it's time to work on the drop. The lift hill works good enough to not need a chain guide, though. Tell me what you guys think.
There won't be an update next weekend because I'll be away from Thursday to next Monday, however I'll update ASAP before I'm away.

That green motor ain't gon pull crap, it'll just stall and stall. You might want to make the tube to base connections a little bit sturdier.

I could always add a mortor you know. For some reason I feel that you wouldn't realize that I adjusted the chain length to keep the motor from stalling.
Anyways I'll fortify the connections of the tube and base as said

The green motor just simply won't pull the train up, regardless of the chain length.

Usually I can barely get 4 12 volt motors to pull up a train on my coasters and each 12 volt motor is much stronger than 1 green motor. However, my trains are about 10 pounds, and it looks like yours seem to be unweighted.

Would it help to have a terrain trekker motor then (assuming that I'll adjust the lift to accomodate it)? And yes, I have not weighted the train yet.

You wouldn't need to adjust the motor config.

But yeah. It would definitely help. It still may or may not be enough.

Hmm. the lift looks great! but one critism is the motor.. I would like to make a suggestion, and if I were you I would use two 12 volt motors and place them on the bottom of the lift so your lift isnt out of balance, But anyway good luck! :)
